Lil Wayne has had enough!

That’s right, after announcing he plans to leave the Cash Money music group with artists Nicki Minaj and Drake, the performer has now announced the release of the ‘Free Weezy‘ album, set to take aim at the chains that tie him to his former friend Birdman.

Billboard reports:

With his Tha Carter V album up in the air, Lil Wayne is releasing a free album, The Free Weezy Album.

He announced the news on Twitter early Thursday morning, Feb. 5: “Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album #FWA.”

The Free Weezy Album announcement comes weeks after the release of his mixtape, Sorry 4 the Wait (Jan. 20) and ahead of the rumored DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, Dedication 6.

The release of the Tha Carter V has been delayed due to Cash Money Records allegedly not paying its flagship rapper the money owed to him. Wayne is suing Cash Money Records, including co-founder Birdman, for $51 million dollars.

I never understood the concept of ppl commenting just to say “I don’t care”. That’s like going into a grocery store and telling the nearest clerk, “I’m not buying anything today” and then walking out.. Like, you look rather dumb and irrelevant cuz no one cares that you don’t care.

      Carry on.
