Madonna’s royal status is reinforced this week on the ‘Ellen’ show.

For, the diva will perform one song a day from her new album ‘Rebel Heart’ on the daytime talker.

Billed as a residency of sorts, the first performance was of the project’s lead single ‘Living For Love.’

How did Madge do? You be the judge after the jump…

Will she stop with this desert dry remix already? It’s not becoming.

Otherwise, decent performance.

Your thoughts?

She is really promoting the hell out of this project which is commendable.

    Good luck Madge..

By who?, the thirst to see her in Vegas, get over it, that ain’t gonna happen.

For some reason her performances this era are not slaying me … The energy and showmanship just isn’t there ….. Which is weird cause Madge usually brings it

That was amazing but she’s always amazing in fact everytime I see her I think back at how great performances use to be. Like with Britney Nsync & Gaga. And as much as I love King Bey (who is the closes to MJ) I have to say after her Super Bowl she stop giving it her all on television. If Madonna wasn’t such a Icon & was a new artist she would be number1 all over the charts right now.

Guess you didn’t see Beyoncé’s 3 song tribute to Stevie Wonder. She definitely gave her all that night. I think she was just distracted by all the controversy Grammy night so that performance wasn’t her best. Every now and then she reminds us that she is human.

Anne I agree Bey is human & yes I saw her Stevie tribute & she killed it but that wasnt seen by as many people as an award show. And lets face it even with out all the craziness of the Grammys that Drunk in Love performance would have still been her dancing around a chair. Lol But if she could have done a performance like she did of RunTheWorld at the Billboard Music Awards that would have been mind blowing or had an Aladdin Arabian type look & used the Les Twins (dancers) that would have been amazing as well.

You people get on my damn nerves always running to Beyonce’s defense and bringing her up in posts that have nothing at all to do with her. Get a damn life! The performance was good. F*** you and ya fave.

Lmao closest thing to MJ? The delusional reach is severe LMAO.

      • Faf March 17, 2015

        That’s what I said

The closet thing to MJ in performance wise belongs to his baby sister Damita Jo Jackson…Miss Jackson if your nasty.. but back to topic Madonna has never been that great of a performer but I love her work ethic with supporting this cd the hunger in her eyes speaks volumes and I like the trail she is blazing

The closest to MJ is Janet Jackson.

I love that mix. THE QUEEN brought a strong album this time. She looks and sounds amazing.

She just hurt her back a few days ago and is probably still in pain and taking it easy.

Is she still trying to make this song a hit? Performing multiple times on Ellen won’t change the fact that Living For Love has totally bombed in US and worldwide. It didn’t even chart on Hot 100 even after the Grammy performance, Brits, and a music video. I doubt the Ellen performances will make a difference. And why is she rehashibg the same performance every time? Isn’t she the ‘queen of reinvention’? Why is she just doing the same performance here as she did at Grammys, Brits, Jonatan Ross Show and the French tv show? Madonna has lost her creativity and is played out. She can’t sell anymore. She can tour and make money off that but he albuns and singles aren’t successful anymore.
