  2. xedos March 16, 2015

  3. Hesings March 16, 2015

It’s a 13 second clip!!! Let’s wait till we hear at least a minute people!!!

    • SoFresh March 16, 2015

I’m like really. I love Monica but u can’t get a feel off a chopped 14 sec clip lol. Wait for a real snippet

  4. TheElusiveLamb March 16, 2015

I’ve never been too much of a Monica fan, but I’ve enjoyed most of her recent albums. I like the preview, but I have to hear the entire song as most songs today have a catchy chorus, mediocre lyric content, and horrible verses.

“It’s hot tamale.” You better stan for The Elusive Mimi Sam!

  5. Luther V March 16, 2015

Yes Monica with her fine self, it’s hot, i’m here for it!

  6. arfa March 16, 2015

She needs to step her game up. If this album flops shes done.

    • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

      It won’t . Stfu

  7. Al March 16, 2015

Am a big Monica fan of nearly 20 years. Need to hear more that snippet ain’t enough. Mo get ass into gear!

  8. 82501 March 16, 2015

It sounds ok. Monica has always bored me as an artist. Aaliyah blew her out of the water vocally and artistically.

    • Luther V March 16, 2015

So you’re really going to try and start this right now, get a life b****.

    • DD1G March 16, 2015

      Obvious troll trying to bait.

    • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

Girl, Aaliyah could NEVER sing better than MONICA. You’re out of your mind. Brandy & Monica were those girls in the 90s. Aaliyah started getting popular after her unfortunate flight

      • BeyRihLiyah March 16, 2015

clearly that was a troll and like a dumb ass you fell for the bait and like you said “Brandy & Monica were those girls in the 90s” but by 2000 they weren’t s*** where was they in 2000 where was they in 2001 exactly now shut the f**** up

    • Code Red March 17, 2015

LMAO. You kidding right??? Aaliyah was nobody’s vocalist.

  9. NENE March 16, 2015

Who is she? Is she one of th girls from xfactor ?

  10. Antonio March 16, 2015

Ehhh I’ll wait until a real snippet is released because she barely said anything and the beat sounds to typical ghetto R&B

  11. I’m cute and pretty March 16, 2015

I don’t like her voice! She be sounding flat and yodeling with no range. She should stick to being a CNA

  12. Antonio March 16, 2015

Monica has never been artistically inclined impo. All of her albums sound exactly alike except Still Standing and New Life was basically the leftover songs from Still Standing. She’s always been a great vocalist but musically, she’s not that impressive. All she talks about being cheated on, bad relationship and typical hood love scenarios

    • Absolved March 16, 2015

The f#ck is a “typical hood love scenario?”

      • Anne March 16, 2015

It’s a song about a typical love scenario being sung by a person who comes across as hood like Monica.

  13. Whitney & Mariah March 16, 2015

I like it, Monica never disappoints me. I have all of her albums, and I just love her voice!

  14. Khalil Johnson March 16, 2015

It sounds generic like the rest of her music. Her best album was her debut… 1995.

    • Dev March 16, 2015

I agree. I think it went downhill after the debut musically and vocally.
I’m not feeling this song as it shows no progression

      • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

You havent even heard the FULL song to determine whether you like it or not.

  15. Rihboy March 16, 2015

I’m here for it!!! Typically her music runs together; however I hope this single brings her back onto the map stronger! R&b has been lacking for a few years now. Now all I need is brandy to get on her s***.

  16. Rcw March 16, 2015

Can’t wait to hear what Monica has been cooking! Love her!

  17. Truth About P!nk March 16, 2015

  18. missdiva March 16, 2015

Yess LUV Miss Thang and this snippet sounds Hottttt
Monica always makes a comeback, she’s solid artist with a Loyal fan base…one of few artists with a #1 hit 3 decades in row…Longevity is Success and her music will be remembered forever unlike these poorest fly by quick hit singers/entertainers

  19. Yeah I said it/ Queen Bey March 16, 2015

Love the clip. Coming through Missthang Monica, such a true vocalist.

  20. Ajm265 March 16, 2015

    Code red lets go.

  21. Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

Omg. Yesssss Mo. Switch it up on em. I love it. Can’t wait to hear MORE

  22. FutureCIARA March 16, 2015

She has good albums, I like this sound.

  23. Casual-T March 16, 2015

No. This not the epic comeback single she needs.

  24. Paws March 16, 2015

I love the snippet, I really can’t wait. I honestly hated her last alb it was just all over the place and boring only liked until it’s gone but monica is a true r&b legend I got a feeling she’s gonna bring it with this album

  25. C.Nelson March 16, 2015

I do music so recognizing melodies and harmonies is my strong point…..those vocal set ups are just like brandys. Go back and listen. Ppl can never let B-rocka keep her sound

    • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

      Girl by. You sound stupid.

    • rlhigh March 16, 2015

How silly. Can this teenage fued R.I.P. Stans

  26. j-boo March 16, 2015

I like Monica she’s one of the few albums i buy but i felt nothin from this clip. i really hope she steps out her lil box with this album cuz the formula she been sticking to is gettin boring. Still standing is her best work to date. we saw growth vocally and in subject matter. now i need her to take it a step further.

  27. C SQUAD March 16, 2015

    • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

Girl your a Ciara STAN. Have several.

    • Al March 16, 2015

Are you fukin for real from a CBOLA b**** please take a seat.
The Boy Is Mine Grammy award winning multi million selling single. Monica has sold 30M records worldwide. No1 single on RnB chart in 3 decades a legend already 20 years. Angel Of Mine was No1 take a seat

  28. Somebody watching you boy March 16, 2015

nice clip of it for 13 second beat drop

  29. @rihicon March 16, 2015

    bye this sounds basic

  30. JFB March 16, 2015

    This sounds promising .

  31. AnnaMaeKeatingsNewWig March 16, 2015

I’ll never forget the time she outsung Keyshia Cole on her own damn song, and Keyshia felt a typaway. SMH she sounded like a mule with a soar throat that needed a lozenge.

That song is a newlyweds-firstdance type of bop tho

  32. Credits March 16, 2015

Judging from her recent snippets, it Sounds like she is layering her voice more for the harmonies on this album. I like.

    • Kitty Puurrzz March 16, 2015

      ️Yess. I noticed that too.

  33. rlhigh March 16, 2015

Straight fire. I love it…….Haters in the house. Get you life.

  34. cocobutta March 17, 2015

1st of all if Monica is not putting out snippets herself then its 4 a reason.

My girl is a vocal beast and when Whitney acknowledged that we just had to know.

Monica is more diverse than you think and people who don’t have her albums wouldn’t know.
My homework for the ones out the loop is to listen to songs like For You I Will, Street Symphony, Mirror, Down 4 Whatever, My Everything, Ain’t Nobody, Believe in me & Inside.

These show layers, textures, sounds and vocal range and ability. That mix with power of Monica’s voice is the reason she is Still Standing 20 years into her career.

    • Credits March 17, 2015

And she is still one of Clive Davis’s most prized possessions.
