Nicole Scherzinger‘s solo career may have failed to take flight, but it seems her ex-boyfriend is on course to show her how it’s done.
For, after picking up British singers Alexa Goddard, Rita Ora and Arlissa, Jay Z’s ‘Roc Nation’ has now set its sights on Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton, now hoping to swap race tracks for…well…tracks.
The 30-year-old rubbed shoulders with Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and Elijah Blake at this year’s Roc Nation Pre-Grammy brunch, and is now close to signing with the label / management company in a bid to launch a career in Pop music.
A source said: ‘Lewis has been talking to a few music industry figures about his music, including Jay Z’s Roc Nation team. It’s early days but it looks more and more likely that he will release some of the songs.
‘Lewis spends a lot of time in the studio, works with big name collaborators and takes it all seriously. Formula One is still his number one priority but don’t be surprised if Lewis tries for a pop career, too.’
Lewis, who has a recording studio in his home, has made tracks with a host of big names, including producer Rodney Jerkins, who’s behind hits for Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson, among others.
They’ve been in each others company for a while now, there’s pictures of Beyonce with Hamilton a few years back. Anytime I see Jay or bee or ri with another celeb u better bet ur bottom dollar it is for business and not just a photo

I guess his connection to Nicole S. he has seen and been around music or maybe it has always been another passion of his to explore music who knows. But honestly I wish people would stop thinking Roc Nation is your answer to a successful career because not everyone apart of Roc Nation is the megastar they would like to be.
