Christina Milian Shares Sneak Peek Of Racy ‘Rebel’ Video / Confirms 5-Track EP

Published: Sunday 19th Apr 2015 by Sam

Young Money‘s newest maven Christina Milian declares that she’s not waiting for things to happen. She’s taking control.

The fighting words came while on the set of new video ‘Rebel,’ her first offering for boyfriend Lil Wayne’s label.

According to the ‘Dip It Low’ singer,’ the single will feature on a 5-track EP – due later this year.

Peep behind the scenes look at the clip below…

At 33 and after so long in the game, we have to give it to Ms. Milian for her persistence. We’re not at all sold on the potential of the song, but we are here for her grind. For the love of all things good, we hope it materialises in an actual album down the line.

In the meanwhile, we’ll continue to play ‘Zipper’ – the shoulda, coulda, woulda smash single from many moons ago.

Not even Wayne can revive her career tho

pretty girl but Flop Flop Flop, nothing can make her relevant, she doesn’t have the star power, Tinashe should watch out she might end up like her

    • Pat April 19, 2015

      Guh sit down somewhere!

    • #TeamTinashe Stan (FD’s Album “Jackie” Is Now On iTunes) April 19, 2015

Tinashe and her are not the same. Sorry to break it to ya but Milian along with Mya, Cassie and others wait for labels to determine their future while Tinashe actually is a “Do It Yourself” kinda artist that is constantly keeping fans updated with her music.

getting high and writing a play about yourself is the lamest thing I’ve ever heard….

Yassss Sam what u know about zipper?! That song still slays my life…that whole album could’ve been big 4 her had her and dream kept it together smh…this is hot tho just needed some choreography from her guess it’s not what the budget doctor ordered for this video oh well I’ll still support tina turnup

    • Lake Erie April 19, 2015

      Yes! I agree.

Gurl Bye. You were never the ish to begin with. Reality TV suits you.

Well, Chile, it was nice to jam to “Dip it Low” back in the day. Unfortunately, we won’t be getting anymore of that since she’s so concerned with Wayne’s life and getting his attention. R.I.P. Christina!

  7. BeyRihLiyah April 19, 2015

why is she still trying? she needs to face the fact that she is a one hit wonder (dip it low) she should do more acting because she had a little bit going on for herself with acting

    • Mark111 April 19, 2015

She had Am/pm too, lol. Can we count the Ja Rule song? Hahahah

  8. metzo April 19, 2015

Flop. Autotune mess. Next girl pls

  9. What now April 19, 2015

Ummm who really cares THAT much about this flop? Rihanna destroyed the little shine this thot had back in 05 with half of the beauty. Good bye Dip it Low.

  10. D April 19, 2015

I feel the same about Milian as I do about Alexis Jordan, Wynter Gordon, and Ashanti — you can’t lose momentum. Once you have ‘your moment’ in the industry (hot song / scandal / a buzz) you have to run with it like you stole something and milk it for all it’s worth.

Dip it Low = ‘her moment’. Love Don’t Cost a Thing was cool, but the subsequent television movies, babydaddy chasing, and crappily produced / handled songs were not a good look.

Kim Kardashian gets props from me for running with that sextape (despite what that says about culture and society in general). Rihanna ran with the CB incident until her name was out in the stratosphere. Even with the Spice Girls; Victoria Beckham made the right moves (married a top footballer, switched up her look, diversified her brand) and built an independent empire, whereas Mel B got knocked up by Eddie Murphy and is hosting talent shows. Nahhhh.

As soon as your moment passes, if you failed to capitalize on it you’ll never come up again. Even more so if you weren’t that big to begin with.

Really s***. And I LOVE Ashanti but I don’t care what she say, I don’t see how she fell off. Girl was big back then. But, those “breaks” will do that. Stupid.

      • D April 19, 2015

Are you calling me ‘stupid’, or nah? Christina & Ashanti both wrote songs for (and got played by) J.Lo. You can hear Ashanti and Christina Milian’s vocals if you listen to the ‘Aint it Funny (Remix)’ and ‘Play’, respectively.

“Paris Morgan. She’s like a frappuccino with hips” “With Miss Hot Fudge & Miss Whipped Cream” lololol. #MiddleSchool.

But seriously, they fell off. Society in general is not kind to washed-up / aging women, especially when there’s someone younger, prettier, and hungrier.

      • Lake Erie April 19, 2015

Lol. I was agreeing with you D and nah, I called them stupid cuz like you said. They had ample opportunity. I love them both. And right! It is other artist out here that are hungrier. I said the same thing Smh. But I’m going to support though. Ashanti’s last album was nice, but due to her being indie, no one could hear it sadly. But I applaud her for how it performed.

    • Pat April 19, 2015

When did David Beckham play football though?

      • NT April 19, 2015

Not American football , Football as in Soccer.

  11. Royalkev April 19, 2015

I doubt anything will get me to like this song, but Christina is hella s*** though! I do think the video will be hot!

  12. Overdose April 19, 2015

Lmao autotune mess. It will flop for sure. Not even looks could save her career.

    • BeyRihLiyah April 19, 2015

it’s going to flop just like work, got me good, sorry, like a surgeon, speechless, never ever, go girl, gimmie dat ,ride, im out, overdose, i bet, fantasy ride, basic instinct and Ciara 🙂

      • Overdose April 19, 2015

        Why are you so pressed?

      • Lake Erie April 19, 2015

Right @Overdose! I love Rih, but I think ole f*** boy above is salty that according to previous post on here, Rihannas team is dumping her ass. Tee hehe. I wish her and her thousands of navy people the best according to what Sam said. …… meh.

  13. Lake Erie April 19, 2015

Christina….. Christina……..Christina….. Hmmm…. no lie, I do f**** with her. and idc what nobody says, with the RIGHT team, she could def be a rising star but tbh, in my opinion. Smh she’s not hungry. Not hungry at all. She say that s*** about “it’s time to take charge” but Smh she not doing it at all. But I will be supporting her. I’ve been waiting for some work from her for years since her and dream. So good luck Milian. #GoodLook so far. I guess.

  14. FutureCIARA April 19, 2015

The video looks interesting, But Ciara buried her…. BYE!

    • BeyRihLiyah April 19, 2015

and Ciara’s career be deceased and buried for 8 years 🙂

    • Mark111 April 19, 2015

… you’re actually right for once. I recall About Time coming out in 04… and then Goodies happend.

  15. Anastasia Beaverhousen (aka T.I.T.S.) April 19, 2015

I’m sorry she was to busy being a professional hoochie to care about a music career.

Now must of us don’t care..

She was as big in music as Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton.

You can’t really comeback from being a never was.

The girl is very beautiful though. Go back to acting or do some midget modeling…

    • Anastasia Beaverhousen (aka T.I.T.S.) April 19, 2015

  16. Kara April 19, 2015

She’s beautiful, but I do not see it for her. There are some people I think that will go far with a push but Christina M is not one of them. Her time has past. No matter how many times she repackage herself her music career is over. She should try acting and getting herself of the big screen again.

  17. What now April 19, 2015

Only 28 comments? This post is almost as disappointing as a certain Janet Jackson wannabe career post his evolution.

  18. Christina Aguilera April 19, 2015

This b**** will flop worse than the soon to be Flop of the Decade #Jackie!

  19. Sade is Queen April 19, 2015

I BET she’ll do better numbers than Ciara lol

Oops forgot to change my e-mail

    • Lake Erie April 19, 2015

Right, ya dumb ass. Smh. That’s what you get for hating? Sidenote: changing emails though?!!! Smh the thirst.

      • What now April 19, 2015

She still the biggest flop in the industry besides Kelly Rowland, Nivea, Mya, Tinashe, and the Ying Yang Twins.

  23. I STAN(D) IN LINE FOR HYDROQUINONE) April 19, 2015

unfortunately Rlate will flop harder than dis and Jackie

  24. Mark111 April 19, 2015

She never had a chance. 9/11 messed up her launch in 2001 Am to Pm and Ashunti took her rapper. Ciara can out of nowhere in 2004 with Dip It Low. She turned down SOS and that same song and the same year 2006, Rihanna killed her. Even Play, a song she wrote for J.Ho isn’t even remembered.

  25. Mark111 April 19, 2015

Remember when they were calling her Baby Janet and the New Britney Spears? Lol

  26. you wanna be on tv I bet April 19, 2015

    Good luck to her

  27. Janet’s Left Tittie April 20, 2015

Wow, what a bunch of f****** trolls ya’ll are for these nasty comments, you ‘de think this girl killed your mother! Christina is the true definition of hard work! She always has been, she was dropped by Def Jam simply because Jay Z had taken over the label and bought in his own artist, no many was put behind her 3rd album even though SAY I was a number 1 hit in the UK.

After her husband cheated on her she chose to take time out and raise her daughter, why on earth does this make her a professional hoochie? She has been on her grind ever since, making all her own money, with a clothing label, a wine brand, a sheesh brand, acting and featuring on songs. Music has changed since the last time she was out so she decided to experiment and try something new, give her a break, I Love Rebel, although i agree with Sam that Zipper is a no.1 banging song, I think she deserves some respect and it’s people like her who do s*** for themselves that will be the last one standing!

  28. Anastasia Beaverhousen (aka T.I.T.S.) April 20, 2015

Be mad all you want. The facts are the facts. 🙂

    • Anastasia Beaverhousen (aka T.I.T.S.) April 20, 2015

And that tittie will remain more famous than Christina will ever be and so will the person it’s attached to. So sip deep on that truth tea..

  29. Pit to bring it down on somebody April 20, 2015
