Kelly Rowland may be gearing up to front her very own BET show, but that hasn’t halted the recording of her fifth studio album.
The ‘Motivation’ maven was snapped in the studio with hitmaker Polow Da Don this week, presumably working on material for the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Talk A Good Game.’
Rowland’s sophomore effort, ‘Ms. Kelly,’ was the last time the pair teamed up; Polow produced its lead single ‘Like This.’
With the singer angling for a more “uptempo” sound this go round and Polow renowned for his versatility, we’re eager to hear what they’ve been cooking up.

It feels like De Ja Vu to be honest, I was extremely ready for her to slay when she released TAGG and the album before, Dirty Laundry was a solid song, but she paid the rest of the album dust, I do not like Kelly’s work ethic, I think she’s completley satisfied with being just ‘there’, If I had the vocals and beauty she did, I would be hungry to leave a long lasting mark on the industry, NOT here for it this time round, sorry Kellendria

Actually she didn’t pay the album dust. The treatment of the last album wasn’t her fault which is why she left the label. She planned to tour & release numerous singles but the label wasn’t going for it. She was gonna release the Black Girls Rock version of Gone with Sevyn Streeter, Down on Love, & I Remember but they didn’t let her so she left.

Kelly has potential to be a GREAT and legend in her OWN right but she has to stop with these ghetto producers and songs if they are keep giving her hood hits with no REAL hook or catchy vibe. FIRST if i were Kellys manager I would have her trying to snag some acting lessons and to take on a DONNA SUMMERS biopic. Have her record some of Donnas hits and some new songs for the soundtrack (yes I know nobody can outdo Donna but she can tribute her well)then release songs with a donna feel!
