“Hot In Herre” hitmaker Nelly is feeling the heat from Tennessee law enforcement today after he was busted with drugs on his bus.
With meth, marijuana, and a few other gems among those listed as substances found, the rapper found himself in the slammer as a result.

“A Tennessee state trooper arrested internationally known hip-hop artist “Nelly” on felony drug charges in Putnam County on Saturday morning.
Nelly…was charged with felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, Trooper Michael Loftis stopped a Prevost motor coach bus on Interstate 40 near the 275 mile marker for failure to display a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA) sticker on the vehicle. The investigating trooper planned to conduct an inspection on the bus when he noticed an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
…The troopers discovered in the sleeper area a plastic bag that contained five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia…”

Reports have it there were several guns found aboard the vehicle as the 40-year-old rapper and his crew were in route to St. Louis.
This arrest follows similar news just two years ago that indicated the rapper had been arrested after cops discovered heroin and marijuana on his tour bus. Read more on that here.

Well you have to think about it. In the prime of his career, Nelly was the definition of pop rap the way flo rida is today. They’ll always be different because of their style and the Times they’re in but they occupied the same musical niche if you get what I’m saying. Same with t pain and future. They were both the autotuned hook go to guys in hip hop. Again, the Times, musical sound, and their personal styles make them different from one another but they do the same job
