Fans of the Pop singer Rihanna have taken to Twitter to blast her management company for the supposed mishandling of her latest album campaign.
Though no release date for the LP has ever been set the singer’s supporters have hit the social networking site in their thousands to accuse her team over at Roc Nation of “not caring anymore”, citing them as the reason hype around the project is beginning to wane.
Their words below…
The vocalist made a quiet departure from the record label Def Jam following the release of her last studio album ‘Unapologetic’, moving over to the Roc Nation label after hiring their management before the release of her album ‘Loud’, released in 2010.

I always felt that her best album was when she came out with Good Girl Gone Bad she had classic songs there like Umbrella, but I think she’s lacking the passion, drive,and fire she use to have when she did GGGB. I swear I’m not trying to patronize, but I feel for the Navy. I do believe an artist like Rihanna have a certain pressure on her for the first few singles to perform. That is important, but if she doesn’t deliver with that it doesn’t guarantee a flop era. People are a little too hasty in stamping this era with that label prematurely. The era is definitely starting out a bit shaky, but I don’t know if there is someone to blame for anything yet. I apply the same basic rules to everybody (my favs and everyone else’s) and I wouldn’t go to far to mark this era a failure without AT LEAST looking at the first week of album sales. If the album’s not dead on arrival (and able to pull in respectable sales) things can turn around. At the end of the day, if Rih can score herself another platinum album in this sketchy music climate, I’d say she did alright! … Now just how successful of an era than will make R8 is debatable, but accomplishing that feat will ensure that R8’s not a flop. The bottom line is: there’s way more to see.
