With new single ‘American Oxygen’ struggling to make much of an impact on the charts, one of the model’s prominent fansites has lashed out at both her record label and TIDAL.
The episode occurs in the midst of a mucky roll-out for the star’s eighth studio album, which has been delayed in earnest and has yet to spurn a hit to the standard of past efforts.

She still has a chance of doing well this era, but it’s going to take some Kaboom & a little elbow grease to do so; unfortunately, that means some of these tracks need to sit in the bin next to Triumphant. I’m still excited for R8, but not as much as I was before.

Like I said months ago, this R8 era is a mess with no clear vision or cohesiveness.
45S could have been #1, especially with Sir Paul McCartney on it, if a video would have been dropped from the release of the song.
I think BBHMM could have been a solid top 10 across the world if the same had been applied.
Rihanna and her team used to nurture and support 1 song at a time and then release the next.
What happened is that they decided to be messy and just drop one song after another, instead of seeing them through, one at a time.
Either her team has totally changed or they are not doing their job.
Ultimately this all falls on Rihanna’s shoulders because it’s your career and you should be demanding that you and your music are pushed forward in a fruitful way.
If she designates these songs as buzz singles (much like Bey, before ‘Beyonce’ release) and gets back in the studio to retool this project their is hope of a recovery from this shambles of an era.
