Fresh from being announced as the new face of Roberto Cavalli, R&B chanteuse Ciara is cementing her current music plans.
The songstress, whose new album ‘Jackie’ hit stores earlier this month, is releasing ‘Give Me Love’ as the next single from the set. As such, in a bid to build up buzz, the diva has unwrapped the Dr. Luke cut’s official cover.
She’s also gone live with the VEVO stream of the anthemic track – which you can check out below…
I love Ciara, and I think the album was cute, but this single choice is a CHOP, no 10’s from me. But if she promotes it well and serves up some cute choreo, it could have potential.

Fly is not hot. She should’ve stuck with DLWML. That’s the hottest track on the album. she found a niche with that song. If she was smart she would pay close attention to how usher is marketed. That would really work for her.

This is the most generic song on the album, probably one of my least fav but if it can give her some mass market appeal, ok I guess. But again this song is super cookie cutter and done before.

While Ciara is becoming very predictable and limited in her dance performances where she relies on backbends and repetitive whine dances. The performance for this song I’ve seen is HOT! Love that “Put it on me” part dance. Just imagine the music video! Not a fan of hers but goodluck and good choice!

This is a great choice for a ‘radio’ single for a variety of markets, especially for international. This track should get a lot of spins and do well in the clubs.I love the album and I’m hopeful that DLWML will be the third single…it’s a hot song.

This song is somewhat a grower for me. I’m not really into pop but I could see it being a smash though if her label works their hand right of course.

To me this is the wrong single choice and I don’t see it going anywhere it is definitely one of the weaker songs on the album. DLWML should’ve been the second single because it has both international and urban pop appeal.
I’m not a fan of Ciara’s but…. if her fans want her next single to be Dance like we’re making love then why don’t she just fulfill there wishes? To me if I was her I would listen to my fans. Because it just seems in my humble opinion that she doesn’t care about her career or what her fans whom stood by her feel obviously they know what works and she doesn’t. She seems over confident and cocky like she knows her career is going somewhere when it actually isn’t, that’s also the cause of her remaining fans to distance themselves from her. I feel like this about Ciara how in the hell can you say you sell just as many records as Beyonce and Rhianna. When there record units are moving and yours is at a stand still sorry Ciara honey but stop listening to the record Excs. Listen to your fans or rather the ones you still have left, if she think selling a 20k album was bad she keeps neglecting her fans wishes she gonna go from selling 20k to 1k sold.

I’ve tried to help a heifer year in and out when making single choices & she just does the wrong one. Maybe label fault also.
Back in the days she SLAYED singles but the thinking behind this “in with the crowd” single choice will not help her stand out.
Oh well I love her entertainment potential but her pop greatness just won’t reach the level it was meant 2.
At least getting the model coins to be able to fund her own videos as u know the label backing will stop once this falls by the wayside.
