Timbaland protégé Tink has been garnering ample attention of late.

Beyond new single ‘Ratchet Commandments,’ the femcee has been hitting headlines thanks to the words of her hit-making mentor.

As reported here on That Grape Juice, Timbo told the masses in March that the late, great Aaliyah came to him and confirmed that the Chi-Town lyricist is the next big thing.

The declaration didn’t necessarily go down well with fans of the fallen singer.

Perhaps hoping to quell the flames ignited by the comments, Tink has tackled one of the singer’s biggest hits ‘One In A Million.’

Christened ‘Million,’ the 22-year-old’s rendition awaits below…

This is pretty coo, like the beat and the arrangement

I agree, I think it has a unique way of remembering the legacy of Aaliyah’s original “One In A Million.” Good job Tink

She’s sounds dope! But Timbaland did more harm than good by saying that Aaliyah preordained her.
I would’ve enjoyed it more if the sample was smaller and didn’t have the original in the loop. Leave the original alone and do a song that is inspired by it, that will go down better!

I agree with everything you wrote luv.

Especially, Timbaland keeping his seance bs to himself..

This is hot. I don’t usually like people messing with baby girl’s music, but this girl can spit, got flow, and brought something new to the table with this ‘remix’.

    8/10.

I wouldn’t trust Aaliyah’s judgement. It was her judgement that caused her to go down in flames. Plus Timbaland claimed Keri hilson was gonna be the next big thing and better than Beyonce. Laughable.

you stupid ass b****** if you would have done your research on her death then you would know that she wasn’t even trying to get on that plane

    • Brian310 May 8, 2015

But she didn’t want to even get on the plane…all it takes is a little research and you would have figured that out. Her brother mentions it in a video.

WOW, I like this. She can ACTUALLY SING and RAP!?! I need more work though before I hop on even though I dont feel her ratchet commandments too much.

    • Toohotfortv May 8, 2015

Well she has two mixtapes, hun. Start there 😉

  7. BeyRihLiyah May 8, 2015

can timbaland stop attaching this tink girl to Aaliyah if this tink girl is good like he say she is then she can build up her own hype without Aaliyah’s attachment

  8. LB May 8, 2015

This girl slays Nicki in terms of lyrical content, skill and flow. I hope she blows up.

oh and for a second i thought that was a throwback pic of brandy and timbo lol

  15. eric May 8, 2015

Tim, I am slowly losing all respect for you. Stop these cheap lies and nonsense of using Aaliyah’s name to sell people on an artist who just isn’t what you say she is. You’re turning people off.

  16. You wanna love it right bettor then my funky money May 9, 2015

It pretty good not that bad but a simpler would be nice to it to timberland did a nice job

  17. C.Nelson May 9, 2015

Definitely a 90s style remix tho! Although its is a little crazy how Timberland wouldn’t let anyone else touch her work….B*** as soon as heee consign a artist its ok? Nah . But the track his hot

I’m getting so tired of female singers being compared to or saying how Aaliyah inspired their sound like Timbaland said Ciara is the new Aaliyah because of her sound and style now he signs a new chick and says Aaliyah told him that she’s the one like she even has the same style as Aaliyah just let Aaliyah rest and sign a chick who doesn’t remind you of Aaliyah for once

  19. ace May 9, 2015
