‘End of Time‘ producer Diplo has revealed that Rihanna is still hard at wrk on her new album this week, doing so during an interview in which he suggested his star eclipses hers.

The Major Lazer maestro had that to say about Ms. Fenty during an interview with The Standard, shared with the publication after fans of the ‘Music of the Sun’ singer were led to believe work on her new album had already drawn to a close.
The yet-to-be-tiled release has spawned three singles since the start of the year.

Well he did make Rolling Stones top 5 DJ’s lists a while back and he’s good at making very ‘current’ music. We don’t really know the context of the interview but it would definitely work in her favour to be on good terms with him, especially as he can help promote her music in NYC clubs. But anyway she wants this album to be timeless but Diplo mainly produces current music – he would probably give her a bunch of BBHMM sounding tracks which we DO NOT need!
Rihanna is not done, she will slay as usual. She is a serial hit maker, that’s what she does and she’ll deliver a plethora of hits as usual and slay as usual.

I don’t know much about Diplo to comment but all I know is this era for Rihanna is so confusing. Jay Z’s TIDAL and her putting out her record label is a struggle that shouldn’t be happening. Nothing Major Lazer has come out with recently is as ground breaking as their earlier work like “Get Free.” If Rihanna were to do another song like that, it would be a step back as it sounds like something she would’ve already done on her LOUD album. As you many might not have liked 45S, it was something different and a step forward for her.
