I think the point is less about if the beat is “lazy” (which I vehemently disagree with by the way), and more about continuing the Bad Boy legacy that started in the 90’s and bringing it to a new era and crowd that may otherwise not know the history.
I remember a time where you couldn’t escape the Bad Boy records dynasty, and it’s nice that they’re trying to reignite it. It was awesome see Faith, 112, Mase, Kim, The Lox and Puffy all on stage together last night.
