The former ‘American Idol’ alum – hard at work for her return to musical theater via a role as Shug Avery in ‘The Color Purple’ musical – was recently named the face of fashion line New York & Co. Representing their ‘SoHo Jeans’ collection, Hudson shared:
“What I love most about New York is the diversity. It’s a haven for individuality and I have always found that to be inspiring,’ said Hudson. “That sort of energy affects me in all ways but especially when it comes to my style, who called the range “fashion forward, great fitting and comfortable.'”

That’s the demographic that buy stuff too… This is like higher end HSN clothes and no shade I’m happy for Jen.

Gives here something to promote besides that failed album. JHUD was a disgrace and flopped rightfully so. When people would spend good money just to hear you sing Whitney covers, don’t give us an album of dull midtempos, poor song writing, and b-side Mary J. Blige tracks.
She lost 500 pounds for no reason …she was more relevant when she was fat.
Naaaa she’s ugly.
Not just my lady Jen but EVERYONE wants to become the face of something instead of making good-ass funky solid music these days. Urgh.
