Say what you want but Whitney, Mariah, Janet are talented and ICONS. They have the “it” factor, either lyrics, voice, emotion or dance and energy.
Tommy Motolla and Puffy wanted a Latina Janet what they “MADE” was JLO. the poor forgettable songs, the slightly off dancing, they forgettable videos….janets videos go down in history as some of the most amazing visuals ever.
Jlo is basically cute. That’s it. She’s not the best dancer, not the best actress and shes an awful singer.

It’s truly such a shame that “Cheyenne” didn’t catch fire Luke it rightfully should’ve. That song was like the perfect pop song, even better than the latest single for the album, and it was very reminiscent of a MJ pop song. I don’t know why the general public wasn’t here for it.

Mariah has one album in her career that’s been illustrious for over two decades, as a legend/icon that didn’t get certified. If she gets radio hits she’ll sale way more than this guy. Is his album even close to gold? Lol stupid. Heck her 14th studio album sold more than his third or fourth one in terms of first weeks sales.
Honey Mariah has established herself as a career artist. Singles, Number 1s, huge fan base. She’s over 40 now, she should be enjoying the fruits of her 26 year career.
She knows her lane and Its time she enjoyed it. She does not need to be in the Beyonce/Adele lane, she’s already done that lane, and done it better. 250 million sold. Her one DIAMOND music box CD, sold more than both of there cd’s.

They won’t credit the boy but it’s the truth though.
If a duet makes sense then nothing else matters. JLo is beautiful. But most of his songs are hits. There’s Justin T, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran & Sam Smith. They all have multi platinum albums & hit songs. Jason barely has one gold album if that at all. So that’s not plausible.

Not the biggest Jason Durelo fan he is nothing more than a singles artist, as for Jlo she had her time and at this point she is doing any and everything to see what sticks. All in all good luck to them both.
