Same here…I haven’t too long got off work…LONG day! This update came through while I was at work and I like to have passed out. I couldn’t wait to get home and blast it. Yes I saw her!!! She was right in front of my face. I saw the sweat on her skin and her do the hair slam that Britney Spears tried so hard to emulate. When she went into “Throb”, the whole place vibrated and shook. They went wild. Honestly, I missed over 40 minutes of the show because of my family, the Charlotte traffic and that parking at that venue. But a lot people didn’t see anything. Yea I was Mad as F**K!! It was Charlotte and that is the one I went to. I missed so much. I guess I caught the best part but still I wanted to see it all. The crowd was so turned up though and I smelled weed everywhere. Her voice was so good live. Like she doesn’t get enough credit for that and she sung live! She may have had a little track on some parts of Rhythm Nation but that’s it. I could hear her when we parked which wasn’t even in the parking lot or near the venue. Just a grade A performer can’t be matched by any female and I’m not just saying that cause she’s my fave. Like I don’t like comparing her to Michael but that’s what it feels like. Like a female Michael Jackson. Was a crazy good show from I saw. Sang and danced her ass off.

Janet doesn’t need auto tune. Her voice is too soft & her tone is pure. The auto tune takes away from her feminine tone quality. But, other than that, I love it. Especially, when the chores comes in with those hot background harmonies.
The background vocals in the beginning of “Come Back to Me” are heaven sent. I swear no one else but Brandy can possibly come close to recreating background vocals like that.
This is random, but I was thinking last night. The Janet and Aaliyah song was going to be and I got it. I read somewhere it was going to be Nasty 2001 and I thought. 2001 was the Icon show, I bet Aaliyah was up to do a remix or revamp of that song and to perform it at the MTV Icon show, but couldn’t because she was filming QotD and The Matrix.
