Chris Brown serves up the cinematic in the newly unleashed video for singles ‘Liquor’ and ‘Zero’ – the lead releases from new album ‘Royalty.’

Co-directed by the singer himself, the joint clip (which clocks in at 9 minutes) finds the star navigating though a break-up, romancing a new love interest, and turning all the way up. Naturally, the visual – which features partying playboy Dan Bilzerian, sees C. Breezy dancing up a seismic storm too.

Check out the video, via MTV, below…

Cool concept with commendable execution.

For all the hoopla surrounding Chris, there’s no denying that – like the mailman – he consistently delivers.

‘Royalty’ arrives via RCA in the Fall.

I like both songs, but the video is straight boring especially the first half. The choreography in Zero was cool, but how cliché is dancing in a laundromat and a connivence store… CB you’re a veteran; I need better visuals.

A Ghevi would know all about boring and lack of creativity

Why don’t you help Ciara go collect her child support checks because her baby daddy’s mixtape has sold more in one day than Ciara has in her whole career

    Liquor slays

I’m not going to lie, so I’ll go ahead and admit that I like his song “Zero”. It’s catchy and just may reach the top 10 of the Hot 100.

Plus, if he gets his radio deal ready and streaming is up to pat for the single/video, it could become his next “Yeah 3X” or “Don’t Wake Me Up”.

Ooook, I am feeling Zero! Now that I hear the song in full, my impression of the song was wrong. I bet he talking about karrueche lol.

Liquor will slay urban and easily be another top twenty hit from Breezy. I can see Zero reaching top 10 on billboard. Both visuals were great nothing too extravagant but I’m sure he will serve with the third single. Go Breezy!! This album will have FAME roots!!

Chris is talented as hell he can do it all can’t wait to hear his song with Tinashe!

  9. StrawberryMuffin24 September 22, 2015

Bobby Biege may be off but at least he can back his s*** up with raw talent…

I’m feeling the video for Zero, and I’m liking the song more each time I hear it. I think Breezy might seriously have a hit on his hands.

Chris brown to me is like a male Beyoncé as far as male R&B goes, Idc sue me ! I absolutely love everything this guy puts out he’s so amazing liquor is my favorite song at the moment the video was great it could’ve been better , I actually liked the Second half for “Zero” I can’t wait for his new album !!

Pls, Bey’s direct male counterpart is Justin Timberlake. It used to be Usher but his career has cooled. Justin can sing (something Chris struggles to do live days), write, dance (not as well as Breezy obviously) and most importantly, is a commercial force in the music business just like Beyonce is. Just look at his recent 20/20 Experience album and how well the subsequent tour did. Chris is 26 years old – think of where Bey, JT and especially Usher were at that age. In three words, B’Day, Futures*x/LoveSounds and Confessions respectively. CB is successful a Urban music staple but is in no way as big as he could’ve been had he made better choices.

At this point, I’d say Drake’s current standing in the business higher than Chris’.

      @Rihyonce

I actually agree with you, I just never said it out loud… or on a blog. When it comes to knowing how to keep your public interested, both rely on their many natural gifts (raw talents). They both have an “it” factor that’s hard to find in artists these days!

  13. RihYonce September 22, 2015

Chris fine ass can make a hit in his sleep ! Yes CHRIS !

  14. DIABETES UNBOTHERED September 22, 2015

Lol at Brezzy being the male bey. Just because he can pop his booty and hit the single ladies rift doesnt make him the male bey… hes barely a young Usher. The male bey would be Drake atleast he can go Plat and headline his own shows with the assistance of Trey Songs and tigga lol

    • DIABETES UNBOTHERED September 22, 2015

      *without*

Yes, he definitely can pop his booty exceptionally well. I’m always here for it, but not his antics and gimmicks. I swear black men have the best male buttocks. They’re so round, firm, plentiful, and warm.

  15. DIABETES UNBOTHERED September 22, 2015

He is the male rihanna though what with the quantity over quality overkill that drives both their careers. They should get back together!

I find myself enjoying Chris’ videos despite not being that much of a fan anymore. Anyway, I liked ‘Liquor’ when it dropped because I think it’s catchy and he does have a pretty good ear for hooks. However, the video was kinda lacklustre. ‘Zero’, on the other hand, is more enjoyable as and the song is slowly growing on me. With some promotional performances here and there, I can see Zero going Top 20 – if not Top 10. I just wish he took a bit of a break in between albums and wasn’t so overexposed musically. I would like for him to drop an undeniable classic and mature body of work someday.

  17. StrawberryMuffin24 September 22, 2015

Chris is more talented then Beyawnce he can do basically everything!

  18. Royalkev September 22, 2015

I liked Liquor after my very first listen, it’s been in my TGJ top 5’s for a minute now! I think Chris is starting this new project off right this time, he definitely have solid Urban and Mainstream hits with these songs.

  19. @JanetCIARA_ September 22, 2015

    I love this song!
