Azealia Banks‘ continues to flaunt her flare for fireworks.
The fiery femcee is no stranger to popping off on social media, a trait which reared its head again today on Twitter.
This time, it was Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, and attention-seeking singer Miley Cyrus who were on the ‘212’ rapper’s hit list.
Their crimes? According to Banks, being “basic” and releasing “whack” music.

Clearly annoyed by the media attention the trio have been receiving following Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, Azealia took to Twitter today writing (read from the bottom up):

Azealia really has approximately no clue.
At a point, her brutal brand of honesty had a refreshing appeal. But, now it’s proven to be her undoing, it’s somewhat sad seeing her still launching social media grenades while her album languishes at the bottom of the bubbling under charts. [As at writing ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ has sold 31,000 copies in the US…since November 2014]
And while some of her fans may rush to highlight that commercial success doesn’t define talent, the reality is that it’s what allows the names she’s dragging to appear on major platforms such as the VMA’s, while she sits flexing Twitter fingers.
For what it’s worth, we do feel she’s entirely right about Miley Cyrus. That is one try-hard movement we’ll never quite grasp.
But in any case…
