Tinashe Releases Trailer For New Album ‘Joyride’ / Lead Single ‘Party Favors’ Due Imminently

Published: Wednesday 2nd Sep 2015 by Sam

Tinashe is charging on into sophomore territory.

The eclectic stage blazer is gearing up to release her second studio album this November and it’s now been confirmed that the set has an official title – ‘Joyride.’

Due via RCA, the set will feature a collaboration with Hip-Hop titan Drake – according to Rolling Stone. Interestingly, said track was recorded for the 22-year-old’s critically acclaimed debut ‘Aquarius,’ but will instead appear on its follow-up.

Having closed the chapter for her first opus just yesterday (with final a visual for ‘Bet’ and ‘Feels Like Vegas’), the singer has unleashed a telling teaser for ‘Joyride’ and opened up about its lead single ‘Party Favors.’

Ready to jump aboard? Watch below…

Speaking on the first taste of the LP, Ms. Kachingwe told RS:

“Party Favors” is one of my favorites, and that will be the first song that we will drop within the next week or so, and it’ll be the first taste of the album everyone will get which is exciting. It’s a very in-your-face first impression.

Bring it on!

Well you already know I’ll be BUYING it! You gotta support and admire talents like this that aren’t about that “Im a wait on the label” life. She isn’t stupid and knows how importantly her artistry is. Tinashe has taken the initiative with her own career from the beginning like many girls in the past should have already been doing (Kelly Rowland, Christina Milian, Ciara and Cassie). No shade but the truth. Not sorry that it hurts!

Congrats to her and I’m ready for this new single and the full project. RCA ain’t playing no games with their new QUEEN!!

  12. StrawberryMuffin24 September 2, 2015

Tinashe is so smart and talented she knows how to keep her fans satisfied and keeping them up to date with everything! She worked with amazing producers I hoped they gave her great songs cant wait!

  15. @JanetCIARA_ September 2, 2015

All I saw was Fanatsy Ride, and Body Party.

  16. Faces September 2, 2015

They insist in pushing this girl. There’s nothing special about Tinashe. Not her music, her talent or her looks.

I’ll never understand why “All Hands on Deck” never became the smash it shouldve been. I just dont get it! She followed the same formula with “2 On” and couldnt get better results. It was like the perfect little brothet, follow up single to “2 On.” Well, I know she’ll do great this new era and I’m ready for her to get the platinum certification and grammy. A hot 100 #1 would be great too.

  18. Kitarelaropa September 2, 2015

Ok this b**** is gonna be ignored

  19. StrawberryMuffin24 September 2, 2015

No matter what the doubters all say imma be around forever always you can bet on it!

I love that part on her BET song Go Queen Tinashe! Do the damn thang cant wait I’m so hype for her new single and album!

  20. Rihboy September 2, 2015

Many of you weren’t supporting her two weeks ago. Now y’all bandwagoning. ????????????. Anyways I foresee lukewarm placement on the charts and mediocre Beyoncé/Janet inspired choreo.

  21. RihYonce September 2, 2015

I can’t wait for her new album! I love her music she’s going to be big I can feel it

  22. JT September 3, 2015

On A Wave better be on this album or VFT6 cuz that’s the only song I wilk care about, and why Joyride tho? I thought of Ciara straight away…

  23. Jhené Aiko Stan September 3, 2015

Good luck to her. She’s so thirsty for success and a hit, hope she gets it.
