I’m tired of her always putting “Single Ladies” somewhere in the encore of every setlist, but it would be foolish to complain about that. She did a phenomenal job and she surprised me with the “50 Shades of Grey” version of “Crazy in Love” and I really liked the vocal arrangments for the breakdown in “7/11.” Great job for her changing the choreo too. It was a great show. No complaints from such a memorable and iconic performer.
Oh please, Crazy In Love and Single Ladies EMBODY Beyonce as an entertainer.
They will always be apart of the setlist lol. Bey without Single Ladies is like MJ without Thriller, Tina Turner without Hail Mary, or Tupac without California Love. It just wouldnt be the same haha.
I didnt say that I’m tired of “Single Ladies”, though. What I said was that she always puts it somwhere last in the setlist or has “Halo” in the end too. I think that because it’s one of her few Hot 100 #1 songs that she should place it near the middle of the setlist because most concert goers usually get bored and lose interest when a concert is halfway through. I wish she would stop paying dust to “Check On It” too because I love that song.

Single Ladies was one of Beyonce’s biggest universal hits. It would be foolish not to put it in her set list with such a diverse audience at the festival.

It would’ve been great to see Rih and Katy do this festival too. I’m sure Katy wouldve struggled to endure vocally, but at least her visuals wouldve probably been the best for the night. Although many may hate her, but I love it when Rih pats her…..you know what! I never get tired of it, especially since she usually incorporates cool and innovative choreo with it to change it up from time to time. I dont care what anyone says. Only Caribbean women know how to properly pat the “Kitty Kat” (guess who’s song this is) although Nicki’s patting is questionable.

The only thing Beyonce needs to do, is master that MADONNA type production level. And, then her tours will be even massive. One of the main reasons, as to why Madonna’s shows are so popular. Is mostly due to her massive production & incredible visuals. Bey, has the RAW talent down pact. Now, she just needs to master that smoke N mirrors part. It’s called CONSISTENCY and PERFECTION. All the top billing female performers have been performing the same way for years (Madonna, Janet, etc), and they use the same choreography from decades ago because that is what is associated with the song, and made it iconic. Crazy In Love wouldn’t feel the same without the Uh-Oh dance, Neither would Survivor without the fist-pump, or Say My Name without the moving squat, or Drunk in Love without the surfboardT, or Jumpin Jumpin without (u guessed it).. Jumping LOL. When you see these dance moves you are taken back to 10-15 years ago… And you realise that not only does beyonce look better, but she performs 10x better.
Touring stadiums has nothing to do with anything. Pink is amazing. She’s been very consistent. She’s a peer of Beyonce’s. The crowd also wasn’t really hyped either. Even though she’s a superb entertainer, you just want something new.
