Shania SLAYED with her second album (Woman in Me) and DEMOLISHED everybody in 1997-1999 with her third album (Come on Over) which is the BEST SELLING FEMALE ALBUM IN HISTORY [although people argue it’s Whitney’s bodyguard OST] and then SLAYED AGAIN with her fourth album (Up) but disappeared after that. I feel that “25” will SLAY and then after that she has one more album which will be just as consistent before her sales start to dwindle thereafter or, like Shania, she retires from recording and just tours or retires altogether!!!

Taylor Swift is the Princess of Country-Pop, no doubt, although now I’d refer to her more as the Princess of Pop-Rock as that is her sound as of late.
You think she’s more pop-rock now? I think “Red” was a perfect mix of country (VERY MINIMAL), pop, and alternative, even soft rock. However, “1989” was PURE 80s pop and nothing else. She’s clearly trying to come for that female pop crown, but that won’t happen when Janet, Madonna, Rih, and Britney exist. She’ll simply have to wait in line for the next position if she’s serious about her genre change.
Adele slays but she does have other counterparts that came out before her and do the same music but I can’t wait for “25”. I am honestly anticipating the following albums such as Sevyn Streeter’s “On The Verge,” “Joyride,” “Moonlight” and “25”.
Adele has everyone shaking in their boots and rescheduling their release to next year instead because of “HURRICANE ADELE”. Chris Brown better reschedule too. 🙂

Also, I’m mad as hell that instead of starting a new era already, she should’ve at least pushed one more single, definitely “Why Try?” to stay on radio for awhile until Adele came back. I think Katy should’ve pushed one more single too, “Walking On Air” or “Legendary Lovers” before ending the era. I’m sure Taylor won’t make that mistake, though.
