A judge has ruled in her favor, quashing a plagiarism claim over her 2013 hit ‘XO.’

Queen Bey’s artistic integrity reigned supreme following the judgment which dismissed the lawsuit filed by Ahmad Javon Lane.
Lane accused the 34-year-old of copying his song ‘XOXO,’ however a federal judge disagreed stating that the track were not the least bit similar musically or lyrically. He stressed that the themes were also different.
For example, Lane’s song was ruled to be raw and raunchy with “explicitly sexual” lyrics … such as describing himself as “horny” and loving every inch of someone.
Beyonce’s ‘XO,’ comparatively, was deemed tamer and laced with with love metaphors.
