Puff Daddy aims to blaze with new single ‘Workin’ – the first offering under his new Bad Boy deal with Epic Records.
Produced by Rob Holladay, the track arrives after the media mogul turned all the way up at last night’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.
Take a listen to Puff Daddy and the Family’s motivational number after the jump…
Solid.
While jury’s out on how the modern mass will respond to Puffy’s musical “return,” he makes a strong case for himself with ‘Workin.’
Lyrically, it packs a punch and sonically fits within the climate of what’s resonating currently in Hip-Hop.
We just hope he isn’t entirely doing away with the brand of “innovative” he was developing with Diddy-Dirty Money’s ‘Last Train To Paris.’ That was all sorts of promising.
