As reported here, the Hip-Hop royal turned internationally recognised mogul Queen Latifah will honour ‘Four Door Aventador’ lyricist Nicki Minaj for her contributions to Hip-Hop music and entertainment.
The honour comes after Minaj made her first appearance on Latifah’s talk show to promote her ‘Myx Moscato’ beverage venture with the full backing of ‘Love & Hip Hop’ creator Mona Scott-Young.

All the ladies I mentioned have Classics, credibility, amazing albums, trendsetters, ect and have all earned the stripes while being in the game longer than Minaj. No hate but her catalog can’t not compare to theirs at all, I highly doubt we’ll be rocking her music in years from now. I also find it utterly unfair/disrespectful she’ll receive a tribute before Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, and Missy who (imo) really took Female hip-hop to high heights. She hasn’t done anything for the culture, she’s no different from Pitbull and Florida who are Hip-pop artist. Ask any real fan of hip hop (not industry folks/stans/kids from the subs) and they’ll tell you she isnt.
