Justin Bieber‘s ‘Purpose’ promo train pulled into the UK this week.
With the like-titled album due in stores on November 13th, the 21-year-old is covering all bases (especially in light of his chart showdown with One Direction).
Today’s stop was BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards 2015, where the Canadian heartthrob served up a spirited showing of #1 single ‘What Do You Mean?’

Bieber is by no means an Usher, Chris Brown, or Timberlake, but he does enough to appease the crowd he targets and that’ll ultimately suffice. What’s more, unlike showings from recent years, he held the vocal together for the most part – which is a definite improvement.

What Do You Mean” is a DAMN good Pop song and one of the best of his career thus far.
It’s a shame that his signature song is still the horribly camp, cheesy and sappy-as-hell “Baby” though – hopefully it won’t be for too long. “Sorry” is a cool song also.
I like J.B; he’s growing up and so is his music. I hope he’ll be able to continue to make mature pop music that is still commercially accessible and grow as a performer as well.

How can one write 4 paragraphs of NOTHING. Lol, JT a smooth and natural dancer? You can literally see him counting while dancing. I’m not saying JT doesn’t have a voice, just not a loud one. He’s off key or is drown out every time. Stop actin like he’s a Robin Thicke, Usher or Bruno Mars. He’s singing is ok, writing is basic, dances are corny (plays Mirror dance segment) but somehow, mainly the production behind him turns out to be great pop music. If JB tries and succeeds, he will pass JT in a matter of a few years. Don’t forget JB sold out the garden BY HIMSELF, he didn’t need 4 others members and Disney to do so. JT isn’t even on Ushers level and Mars is an album era away from passing him by.

In what dimension is Bieber a better singer or dancer than Timberlake? That has to be the strongest reach I’ve read on here. Bieber is constantly singing off key. Timberlake may not have much power to his voice but he knows how to use his voice, something Bieber still hasn’t figured out. As far as dancing goes, that is obvious from their performances. Timberlake is way smoother and versatile. Justin only dances in one style and it looks clunky.
I know many (myself included) will forever side-eye JT for the way he did Janet and how the media positions him as some great White hope but to imply that Justin Bieber is better than him in anything is plain ludicrous!!! For starters, they both have thin voices but Timberlake grew as a singer with each album (in terms of range, tonality and expression). He knows how to use his voice better than most because he takes good care of it. Secondly, JT is a much better dancer than JB. Yes, the former is no Usher when it comes to athleticism but he’s charismatic and picks up choreography really well. I’m mad that I’m somewhat enjoying Bieber’s new music. I can’t hate at his improvement.
