It may have literally taken 25 years, but fans of the Braxton family will finally get their hands on a new studio effort from the quintet. Indeed, sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar have teamed for their long-awaited collabo album, an 8-song holiday themed affair titled ‘Braxton Family Christmas.’
Hitting shelves last week, the project is already winning rave reviews from fans. Now, via the release of the set’s lead single ‘Every Day is Christmas,’ they’re hoping you’ll share the sentiment.

Now, I love the Braxton’s (except for Trina and Tracy), but if that is the official cover for the album, then I WILL NOT be purchasing it or supporting it. You DONT do Christmas like that. It’s freaking Christmas….leave the s*** and flirty stuff for your own solo projects. Please have some respect for Christmas and change the cover, since we all know they take it very seriously…pretty much like the majority of black people.

The highlight of the album were Mary, Did You Know? and Holy Night (Acapella). I didn’t like the Last Christmas production, but the vocals were okay. Solid album.
Toni’s growls >>>>> …. These are some singing sisters! They sound great together, we might need a studio album next. So much SANGING going on these days! I’m here for that!

Love this album really great vocals O holy night is the best song. Toni, Trina and Towanda killed it. Towanda has a very great voice when they let her actually sing she slays. Tamar and Traci did not get to sing really anything.
Heard Trina sang with Tamar a few times live so know her R&B vocals are fleeking. She just don’t want to be compared to Tamar & Toni but girl can blow. If there was a Toni, Tamar and Trina album the arrangements would be sooo stellar. Traci n Wanda got lovely tones also just other 3 my fav voices.
Nice album..basically just show whybToni Braxton is the real Superstar. No doubt they all can sing, but Toni has a voice that is undeniable. I’ve said this before o. Another blog, but this album reminds me of the “Destiny Fulfilled” album. In the since all group members get to singglead on all tracks but it is still very clear who the star is.
