Rihanna Reveals ‘ANTI World Tour’ Dates

Published: Monday 23rd Nov 2015 by Sam

As earlier reported, Rihanna is set to hit the road.

The 27-year-old model is looking to put the past year of poorly received music behind her and finally accelerate with new album ‘ANTI’ – the world tour for which was announced today.

Sponsored by technology giant Samsung, the trek will play to audiences across the globe and clocks in at over 70 shows.

Tickets go on sale December 3rd at LiveNation.com and fresh reports suggest an album tie-in is likely to be explored so as to buffer sales.

Whatever the case, we just hope she’s leaving the stiff whines, pom pom pats, and gargling goat vocals in times of past. The tour kicks off in February, so she has ample time to right the many wrongs from past jaunts.

  5. #TeamTinashe Stan November 23, 2015

I don’t think Sam really dislikes Rihanna or feel like she is talentless. Sam is a stan for Bey, Aaliyah, Ciara, Rihanna and Tinashe just judging by the never ending posts on little stories like this one and how quick he is with it.

Also, Ciara stans don’t get too hype as I see your fave has another copyright infringement letter comin her way with one of her songs that she put up recently that I like….. that’s all ?

    • #JACKIE November 23, 2015

      Where’s Player on the charts?

      • #TeamTinashe Stan November 23, 2015

Lol hehe!! FutureCiara, “Player” did better than DLWML on the charts. Not only that Tinashe SOLD OUT more venues on her tour more than the Jackie tour. BLOOP! Try again ?

      • #JACKIE November 23, 2015

Exactly where did it chart sis? Delusions of grandeur…..

      • @JanetCIARA_ November 23, 2015

I dont need to troll as 2 Ciara accounts dumb girl…..
Now dont try to avoid my sis’s question.
And show us exactly where Player charted higher than Ciara’s last single????

We are all waiting for the answer…

Because ‘Player’ is only charting in 2 countried as of now on iTunes sis, even with a video released for it a week ago. It never had a chance!

Where is anything Ciara on the charts. Oop I forgot she is only focused on splurging on football funds and Ama commercial gigs.

  12. Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans November 23, 2015

My precious, fragile, little heart DROPPED when I saw that she’ll be playing Wembley Stadium. I bet she’ll fill all 90,000 people too. To be honest, she should’ve did Wembley on the last tour and Twickenham on the Loud Tour. If Ed Sheeran’s newbie basic ads can do THREE consecutive shows at Wembley Stadium with 85,000 people per show, then I’m certain as hell Iconanna can do about 10 and literally have that as her European leg if she wanted to. I’m so proud of her and all these stadium shows! That African, South/Latin American, and Australian leg will be full of stadiums too. And if she surprises the hell out of me with a stadium in Tokyo, I’ll lose my s***! I’m so glad she’s getting this era on a roll now.

    • Anatastacia Beverahausen November 23, 2015

      1. Ed Sheeran actually released his album on schedule and it was a worldwide success. He sold out Wembley Stadium 3 times without help from The Weekend and also did stadiums in North America (which Rihanna still can’t do 10 years and many hits later).

      2. Check the numbers and reviews from the LAST Australian leg, and tell me how many stadiums you think will be on the schedule.

      3. I’d wait until these shows and the album go on sale before getting cocky.

      • caribbean native November 24, 2015

When will yal stop with the lies and jus dont hate? You very well k ow she can virtually sell out any staduum in andy european venue….calm your titz

  13. thando November 24, 2015

You cannot deny now the glaring disparity between Rihanna’s ability to fill up 5 stadiums in UK AND San Siro compared to Beyonce’s inability to do this. If she could, she would’ve by now. Wow. Congrats Rihanna. This you cannot take away from her, say what you will. Numbers don’t lie.

    • HailBeysus November 24, 2015

Gurl you better sit down and remember that Beyonce sold out 11 dates in the UK in 10 minutes, when tickets for The Mrs Carter World Tour went on sale. Why my fav doesn’t do staduims is beyond me. She clearly has the name power to do so.

      • HailBeysus November 24, 2015

    • Anatastacia Beverahausen November 24, 2015

“You cannot deny now the glaring disparity between Rihanna’s ability to fill up 5 stadiums in UK AND San Siro”

      1. Even in arenas, Beyoncé played to more people and made more money.

      2. I’d wait for the tickets to go on sale before gloating.

      3. Beyoncé has never had to use a massively popular opening act in Europe to sell ticket. (Unless Luke James is more popular in Europe than The Weeknd.)

      4. Why is Beyoncé the barometer for success?

      • thando November 24, 2015

No one’s gloating. If she could perform to more people in a few dates then she must do it. You are absolutely naive to think that people will go there because of the weekend and not because of Rihanna. The idea that you think people buy concert tickets to see the opening act instead of the main performer is palpably desperate. Beyonce is not the barometer but she’s competition and rival artists are compared all the time in music and this isn’t going to stop just because you’re disgruntled that Beyonce’s contemporary is the one playing Wembley while she does 1500 dates at O2 Arena. Its a gigantic achievement, and for once it’s not Beyonce who attained it so just stop.

      • WhosBad November 24, 2015

Your rebuttal is stupid. Filling a stadium may be an accomplishment, but when the person doing arenas is performing to MORE people and making MORE money they are the one who is winning. Do the math. The O2 Arena fits 20,000 people, Beyonce sold out 11 dates in 10 minutes, that over 200,000 people rushing to buy tickets and y’all really want to sit here and act like home girl couldn’t pull through with a COUPLE stadium dates if she wanted to? LOL stop. Beyonce is the bigger touring force and no amount of stadium dates that still don’t out-gross the one performing to arenas is going to change that.

  14. What now November 24, 2015

    Slay a bit Rihanna.
