Adele has the chart factor and this Sunday will flaunt her X Factor when she takes to the stage on the finale of the singing show’s current season.
ITV have confirmed that the British belter will join fellow home-grown stars Coldplay and One Direction on the bill for show’s climax on December 13th.
In a statement, the network said revealed that the 27-year-old will perform global smash ‘Hello’ from her blockbuster ’25’ album.
Landing Adele is a undoubtedly a major coup for the Simon Cowell franchise, which – this season – has been criticised for being slim on A-list guest performers.
Needless to say, it appears the best has been saved ’til last.
The X Factor climaxes this weekend, with the first of the two-part final airing on Saturday. Performers on that night include Little Mix, Leona Lewis, and Fleur East.
Tidbit: Given how spectacularly Adele is selling, it’s warming to still see her so hungry to hit the the stage. Because, at this junction, it’s vividly clear that she – quite literally – doesn’t need to in order to sell.
