Keen to celebrate the success of his latest album ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’ the network has teamed up with the lyricist to create a TV special set to introduce his material to their audience.
The special, named ‘J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming’, will see the star deliver a set made up of 13 songs and perform alongside his friends/ rap rivals Drake and Jay Z who will make guest appearances when it airs on January 9th.
The rapper’s special will see him follow in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake who also rocked the platform with live music specials and push sales of the project it was launched to support even closer to the 1.5 million U.S. units sold milestone.
