Erykah Badu‘s decision to mock the rapper Iggy Azalea at this year’s ‘Soul Train Awards’ didn’t go unnoticed by the Grand Hustle diva.

2014 saw Azalea rise in Pop’s ranks with the hit ‘Fancy’ which topped the Billboard Hot 100 with help from a ‘Clueless‘-inspired music video.
Unfortunately, her seemingly sudden rise to fame prompted those hadn’t heard of her pre-‘Fancy’ to dig into her creative journey and what they found saw her credibility as a rapper worthy of the praise she was receiving from the likes of Forbes and Billboard thrown into question.
Then came the barrage of Twitter beatdowns from entertainers who used the platform to weigh in on the entertainer’s place in the entertainment industry.
Now, just when she seemed to be over the worst of it, Badu took to the aforementioned awards ceremony to declare that she didn’t believe Iggy was good enough to call herself a serious rapper.
Iggy learned of this and here’s what she had to say:
