Monica declares a state of ‘Code Red’ on the charts tomorrow when her eighth studio album charges in to stores.
Spreading the good word, the Grammy winning songstress stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to perform a medley of something classic and something new; more specifically break out hit ‘Just One Of Them Days’ and current single ‘Just Right For Me.’
The latter is the lead release from ”Red,’ which follows 2012’s ‘New Life’ and features collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, and Akon.

I’m buying most definitely.
No shade to Mo because I do like a bunch of her songs (more so older Cuts) but her verbratto is super unpleasant and distracting. I can never focus on anything but how fast and unruly it is. She didn’t used to sing with that, her tone was much nicer.
I agree. It sounds a little goaty at times. Vibrato and runs does not a singer make. Beyonce used to do that in the beginning of her career but stopped so much. For the better imo.

Monica is one of the best vocalist of this generation. I can’t for the life of me understand why she’s so underrated along with Jill Scott, Janelle Monae,Ledise, Marsha from Floetry, Keke Waytt, ect.

Mo sounded great! It’s big of her to come on Wendy, especially after Wendy disrespected her ex-boyfriend on the radio and joked about his death. Everyone is so caught up in the fake TV version of Wendy, that they forget how low-down she is.
