It’s okay. Not her absolute best album but definitely not her worst. Love on the brain did impress me for Rih doe. Very Etta James. I don’t care for the song itself but her vocal contribution to the song is probably the most effort I’ve ever heard her put forth. ???? I only really like desperado and woo. My biggest critique is that the music is very production heavy. Meaning, There’s a difference between a producer being featured on a singer’s track and a singer being featured on a producer’s track. I’m talking about the way that Mikewill and Dj Khaled have their own songs. You don’t have to sing on a song in order for it to be yours, because producers have their own musical profiles and complexes. Its pretty clear whose song it is. This album sounds like a producers album. Not a singers album. The heavy beats make it sound like Rihanna is a featured artist on her own album. It might as well have all of the producers’ names on the cover. 6/10.

I listened to the entire album, and I’ll say that its really weird. General pop audiences will NOT like this album. With that being said, this is by far her vocal effort and most unique yet. Her message is that she is ANTI Rihanna the pop star. She wants to be Rihanna an artist with her own sound.

I give it 7/10 the album is alright more slow down than her usual stuff but nothing too stand out about it. Some of the songs kinda blend with each and end sounding like the same song. Not really what I expected, overall it’s just kinda bland with a bit of flavour here and there
Just got it off Tidal, Coming from a Lamb, This is her strongest body of work so far.. Like Wow. I’m getting Rated R Teas but much better. I guess she really made music that I would say might stand the test of time. I am impressed. Was well worth the wait.

Yo, I’m really loving this album and it’s direction. I am not a Rihanna album fan, but her singles catalogue has always been amazing. This is the first Rihanna album that i can listen to all the way through.
I’m a true fan of music, and while Rihanna isn’t my favorite, I like to study greatness. Love her or hate her, watch the impact this has in the music industry. Reading interviews of how hard up and coming producers have worked to even get a chance to work with her, and how just having one song on her album will change their lives. That is greatness. Period. Study that work ethic, and place it into your own life, and watch what happens.
Listening to this album, I can see why they tried “45 seconds” first. Unfortunately, they were quickly reminded, that something ratchet and fun would create more buzz; a la BBHMM, and Work. They did the same thing with Tweet’s Southern Hummingbird; choosing “Opps Oh My” as the leading single.
It’s just playing the game. Congrats Rihanna. Im still hoping she releases a full reggae album/mixtape. Ill take it however. Islanders stand up!

Bravo, Rihanna! Anti is a great piece of work! Kiss It Better should have been her “first single” because I have been listening to it all morning. This is the first album since RR where she has shown emotion and vulnerability and I’m very impressed. Love On The Brain is one of her best vocal performances and Work sounds amazing in HD! I give it a 4.3/5!
