Lyfe Jennings Covers Adele’s ‘Hello’

Published: Friday 15th Jan 2016 by David

The R&B singer Lyfe Jennings is the latest vocalist to release his very own version of Adele‘s chart-rocking number ‘Hello.’

Following his brief appearance on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ the performer made his way to the studio to rework the single before the release of his next studio album set for release this year.

Listen to his very “unique” and powerful take on the ballad below…

Jennings’ new single ‘Without You’ makes its way to the world in February and will see him return to a scene currently ran by the likes of Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown and August Alsina who is often compared to him.

Does Lyfe have what it takes to reclaim his first audience while sparking interest in the hearts, minds and pockets of the younger generation?

Weigh in below…

Interesting. Unlike the Joe cover, at least it reimagines the song somewhat.

At least he kept it to just intro verse and chorus. I cannot with this.
