Ciara has made quite the career for herself in the Urban arena thanks to a scintillating array of R&B bops.

However, in a bid to diversify her discography, the sultry songstress has teamed with Dance maestro R3hab for new song ‘Get Up.’

Set for formal release later this month, the track sees Super Ci take on vocal duties while the producer/DJ delivers with the pulsating production.

Delicious, infectious, and bursting with club appeal, ‘Get Up’ is sure to have the masses doing just that.

With more than a decade in the game, the next level should ideally see Ci broadening her reach to audiences beyond her own – a move this track assists with awesomely. We envisage Europe eating this up, as well as the Billboard Dance Chart.

It’s not life changing nor does it particularly advance the EDM genre. What it will do, if there’s any justice in the world, is mobilize Ciara’s re-ascend.

In an ideal scenario, she’ll use such collaborations to veer outside her musical mainstay, while using her own material satiate her R&B fans.

    • maurice January 10, 2016

Lawd. This girl was WINNING in her Crunk/RnB lane, why does she want to pop so bad? Her first two albums slayed my soul entirely. My mother birthed me just so I can listen to those gems, but this pop stuff is a no-no.
I still want her to win though. 🙂

@Maurice, OMG! Did you not get your life to “Hotline” and “Ooh, Baby” back in ’04? I know I did for sure!! A b**** couldn’t tell me NOTHING whenever I played her “Goodies” album. Also, by the way, “Goodies” was a great album opener and it set the tone/mood for the album well. The Album should’ve been nominated for “Album of the Year” at the Grammy’s, especially with how much it sold then.

      • maurice January 10, 2016

        Bish WHEEEET!!!!
That album, back and forth, I didn’t skip one song when listening to the album.
‘Goodies’ was the first album I ever bought in my life. I took that to primary school every day and asked the teacher if we can play it; we all used to dance and ish.
I share a lot of good memories with that album. I wish Ciara would go back to that sound.

Hun, say it ain’t so! I remember when I first heard “Goodies” on BET I got up off my ass and RUSHED to Wal-Mart to purchase a copy WITHOUT EVEN USING THAT LITTLE DEVICE IN THE STORE BACK THEN TO SCAN THE BARCODE AND PREVIEW THE ALBUM RIGHT IN THAT CD SECTION! I don’t know how the hell you couldn’t be a fan of Ciara’s after “Goodies”. She even had white women everywhere trying to do that booty/bell roll she did in the “Oh” video. She’s literally one of the best role models for little black girls right now.

    • Dana Haughton January 11, 2016

I want her to win but she never will with this washed , cheap sounding music , she needs to stop trying to make her pop career happen

  2. #JACKIE January 10, 2016

I don’t really like it that much, but Queen slays pop music so go gwurl! *eagerly awaits the haters*

    • Cowriah January 10, 2016

Girl stfu, you’re the biggest hater on here. Now what do you call yourself when you comment negatively on other artist, exactly. Bum b****.

  3. Royalkev January 10, 2016

Not one of my favorites from Cici, but it’s not bad though. I like that she gives us a good range of music.

    • Miss Jones January 10, 2016

I like how you’re getting downvoted even though you clearly said it wasn’t bad lol gawd

      • Royalkev January 10, 2016

Lol. I have no hate for Cici! … and I won’t be jumping on any bandwagon to start hating either. Ci slayed too many stages for me to.

  4. Miss Jones January 10, 2016

Sounds like a Sonic the Hedgehog level, but okay. I want Ciara to win, so I’ll support it. I KNOW they’ll bump it in the club along with my jam “Lean On” by Major Lazer and nem.

    • ???Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans??? January 10, 2016

“Lean On” is still played in the club? I’m surprised, since it’s long fallen off the Hot 100.

  5. Porsha Williams Stan January 10, 2016

Is it 2011? Sounds dated. Ciara just can’t seem to get it right. #Washed

  6. whos xaxa January 10, 2016

first of all, rehab is such a trash when it comes to club music and i can tell that cause i f****** love house and trance music, its just a cheap EDM. i didnt except alot from this, and heres the results. yall better check for better djs, world doesnt go around calvin harris, rehab or major lazer. there’s plenty of BETTER producers. ha, house and trance is a trash nowadays – check old atb (let u go, 9AM), tiesto (adiago for strings), benny benassi (castaway is my fave, following with everybody) or old armin (but i loved the duet with jean michel-jarre stardust). yall dont better comment on somethin you dont know, ur taste is such a trash. this song is a trash and wont get any airplay in clubs either. PEACE.

    • whos xaxa January 10, 2016

she better stick to somethin shes good at – urban music.
and i cant discredit her in that lane.

    • Taylor Tori Azalea January 10, 2016

      -1

      • whos xaxa January 10, 2016

lmao what? i cant see none and i wont get any, yall just p****** who “bops” to new iggy azealas track and have no knowledge in house/trance music so you can put that – in your p**** right where it belongs .|.

  7. Taylor Tori Azalea January 10, 2016

    Slay a bit
    .
Am Still pressedt and madt why half of Jackie weren’t singles esp One Woman Army and only one

  8. CL January 10, 2016

Just because R3hab isn’t clearly your favorite DJ doesn’t mean he’s trash I don’t like Rihanna Beyoncé and I dont think they are trash they are queens to their fans. It’s clearly that your DJs are good but don’t have the fame of those you name YOU think aren’t good just like us Ciara fans we think she amazing and should be in the fame level of Beyoncé and Rihanna but she’s not there yet but will be if you support good music and not follow any other person and bandwagon on hating Ciara just for fun.

    • whos xaxa January 10, 2016

i dont give a f*** about rihanna either and im a fan, i love beyonce to death and i dont give a 2nd f*** too! unless they pull something good. all theyve released is just pure generic trash.

and my djs are gettin airplay, a state of trance – you better look. and they grossing more and book more stages than these 2 mentioned, are more loved and produces better music.

this song is a trash, so is rehab.
and i cant wait at peeps comin at my taste. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

      • whos xaxa January 10, 2016

and if not them there wouldnt be calvin harris or rehab.
        oh the irony. 😀

  9. #JACKIE January 10, 2016

All these thumbs down for what? Y’all pressdt!!!

  10. LB January 10, 2016

    I don’t know, sounds dated.

  11. whos xaxa January 10, 2016

if this h** who cant keep her legs closed wants an acclaim and hits she needs to spread them to good producers. and clearly rehab isnt the best out here.

    thats my point.
    track is weak.my head hurts.

and im mad, cause they promote trash instead of talented peeps who knows how to make agood use of mixing console.

  12. ???Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans??? January 10, 2016

I’m so f****** PISSED her label f***** up “Overdose” for her! Ughhh!!! It would’ve opened up doors that were closed on her for years. She needs all the radio deals she can get, especially payola, since her label is so damn cheap when it comes to promoting her.

    • whos xaxa January 10, 2016

i was crying too when overdose didnt get a push. and body party didnt get the attention it deserved. or dance like we’re making love… she can deliever, but this song is so off.

    • LB January 10, 2016

You’re blaming the label now? OK….

      • ???Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans??? January 10, 2016

@LB, why not the label? She’s out here networking, making music, maintaining her celebrity socialite status, and pretty much everything the artist can do on their behalf to ensure success. It’s her label’s fault as to why she’s not being well received up to now. If it’s not the label, then who is it cause it sure as hell ain’t her, especially with all that publicity she’s been having for being with Russwll?

  13. Grande the Way January 10, 2016

I like it. If she wants to work with these type of artist she should work with Yellow Claw

  14. Weezy Tha Goat January 10, 2016

If it cracks the top 50 that will be a blessing????

    • #JACKIE January 10, 2016

If The Carter V is released that will be a blessing you b*** hurt f*****.

  15. Rihboy January 10, 2016

My tears are abundant???. She needs to stop

    • #JACKIE January 10, 2016

Sis stop worrying about SLAYara and pray for Anti’s release date f**.

  16. King Mark111 /.\ January 11, 2016

It’s like… cold fries. It’s EDM and it’s old, there’s not warming it up and eating it. It’s done, you had a moment being fresh and now that moment have pasted. Even the EDM DJs are mixing their beats with pop, r&b or something different. No one is doing this played out sound anymore. Ciara is always late to the party. It’s over, I’m sorry dear. Marry the football player and collect childsupport from Feature.

  17. I support great music January 11, 2016

    Yasssss slayyyy #Slayara

    • King Mark111 /.\ January 11, 2016

Then PLEASE support Ciara’s music then.

  18. FC/JC January 11, 2016

Its ok, they wont promote it though…. It seems just for fun, or it would want to be… I dont know why it took them a year to release this as it was performed last year at Coachella… Mainstream EDM is over.

  19. AJ January 11, 2016

This track is awful. The production is so lack lustre compared the live version Ciara performed. In all honesty it doesn’t suit her at all – more suited to someone like Kelly Rowland.

Goes to prove why some genres just ain’t suited to some people.

  20. 4everBrandy_Ci January 11, 2016

I love the track and yes Ciara needs to branch out and switch it up musically. Yes it’s over a decade and I would say her branching out isn’t a surprise for example the underated gem “Fantasy Ride” is her experimental work. But had it have the proper support and right singles she would have been ahead of the game a little……but I won’t give up on her and NEVER will because I do appreciate her as an artist! She wasn’t manufactured to be some bubblegum pop act juts like a few of you people stan for today. Then when it come sto artists like her you write her off because he music to you isn’t your liking. It’s all good because Ciara will NEVER stop and continue to do what’s best for her! I hope she works with him on the next album or maybe they’re already cooking up something in the works. Go Ciara!!!!!! #C-SQUAD
