It’s official. Ariana Grande is deeming herself a ‘Dangerous Woman’ on her third studio album.
The budding diva has confirmed the title, which she has been teasing all week, as the follow-up to 2014’s ‘My Everything.’
Much to the delight of her “Arianators,’ the starlet also had more news.
Find out after the jump…
In a voice note left on her newly launched DangerousWoman.com site, the 22-year-old also announced that she’ll be performing on the March 12th episode of Saturday Night Live.
She’ll be coming to SNL bearing gifts, for it was also revealed that she is taking to the stage to unwrap renditions of two new songs – the LP’s title track and another cut ‘Be Alright.’
*************
The album’s title is a little meh in that it’s entirely too literal for Grande’s inevitable “good girl gone grown” agenda. It’s been done before by many a Pop tart, who’ve been more creative with said angle (see: ‘Stripped’).
Still, Ariana’s talent is one that cannot be denied, hence we’re eager to hear what she’s been baking in the studio. Because, ultimately, it’s the music that matters most. For us.
It’ll also be uber interesting to see how her first campaign, sans former manager Scooter Braun, fares.
In any case, the singer joins a growing list of names who are helping the first half of the year serve as one of the busiest in recent music memory.
