Great to hear Kim re-engaging with her lower register again; some of the tracks she’s tried pushing in recent years have skewed whiny and overly produced vocally.
As a veteran, she’s clearly well-versed in the necessity to jump on hot songs in a bid to generate heat for her own movement. So, this is a wise play.
That said, it’s been 11 actual years since her last album. When will she stop warming up and fire up furnace? It’s been too long.
