Keri Hilson’s ordination as the comeback queen has been delayed.
Earlier this week, a label press release (received by That Grape Juice and countless other outlets) touted her return to the music scene with new single ‘Again’ and album ‘L.I.A.R’ (‘Love Is A Religion’).
However, in a dramatic twist, the singer-songwriter has announced that the song won’t be landing this Friday as publicised.

Hmm.
We’d sooner bet that there is something else at play between Keri and “they” rather than said press release being “fake.” Perhaps it went out earlier than planned? Or maybe the music just isn’t ready?
Either way, it’s never a good look for fans to be given false hope.
We’re genuinely buzzed to hear what Keri has been baking, though.
Let’s just hope it’s served up sooner rather than later. It’s been five years. We’re all for the ’great things take time’ mantra, but the reality of today’s business is that attention spans are shrinking. As such, it’s important to engage the masses so as for them to not move on.

I’m devastated 🙁 Listened to all her music to prepare for the new stuff lol I love her music. Its always so soulful & honest! Her voice is beautiful. SO angelic & emotive. Her voice is so underrated. her head voice is stunning & her runs are amazing & well controlled/crisp! She’s a BEAST when it comes to songwriting, vocal arrangements & vocal producton! Its rare for an artist to do all that alone

I knew when I saw the single cover and 3 year old braid hairstyle that something was fishy.
This is all very dodgy because a music journist posted the e-mail that Zone 4 (Keri’s label) sent out to media outlets.It seemed like a press release&keri said all the info correct except the timeline… I have a few conclusions:
1. Its all a scheme (polow the label owner) to get Keri back in the attention of the public & hyhe upcoming album
2.The label went bind her back & wanted to start releasing music LOL
3.This was the original plan to release now but something made them change their mind (eg label issues, uncertainty about commercial performance, music not being ready, personal life stuff)???
