What was billed as a promotional stop for K. Michelle today turned into a verbal altercation.
The feisty R&B star stopped by The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 to plug new album ‘More Issues Than Vogue,’ yet ended up in a tussle with host Angela Yee.
Taking aim at something the anchor had allegedly said previously, Michelle did not hold back.
Speaking on the matter and her decision to largely stay silent, Yee wrote on Twitter:

From an entertainment standpoint, there’s no doubt the interview ticked the necessary boxes. However, in an industry where relationships largely correlate with relevance, coming for the host of a show that’s long supported you is a questionable decision…from anyone. “Keeping it real” is cute, but selling records is better. Sometimes the two just are not mutually exclusive.
Time will tell if there are any ramifications.

I’m a HUGE K michelle fan. Love her with all of my heart!!!! Will forever be thankful for her music & will always support her. BUT this right here was horrible. Verbally abusing someone just because they instigated a comment about your v***** smelling? Really, i don’t see why you need to verbally abuse someone for 10 minutes off that. Yea, true enough but at the same time. I think this was one of those cases of “what goes around comes around” Angela Yee been instigating and talking sh!t for years and never really had a consequence for it. I cant lie, I haven’t watched it yet but I heard the clip and it was kind of hard to listen to because K did go in on her but I don’t feel bad for her at all. I think the outcome would have been the same had it been on twitter, but Angela might have had more balls then… I don’t think the cameras really paid that big of a part. And as for Charlemagne, we know he low key a pusssy. He talk sh!t about a lot of women sadly.
