A new Alicia Keys performance is on the way!
The “Fire We Make” singer, who’s already teased us with new music, is set to blaze the stage as Saturday Night Live’s musical guest next month.
Like many other artists dropping album hints and documentaries, this particular performance could bring with it that new music we’ve been hearing about lately.

This will mark her third time performing on the show with anticipation for new music steadily rising as we wait for the follow-up to 2012’s “Girl On Fire.” No details on what will make the set-list, but with new music just around the corner it wouldn’t be too much to be on the lookout for a possible new single.
Oscar-winner Brie Larson will host the evening’s episode and took to Twitter to share her excitement.

She´s so talented. Her career has been amazing success wise too taking into account every single of her big hits were pure R&B. That´s veeeery difficult to achieve. That universal appeal to have big hits which stay weeks at #1 (and before streaming was reigning I mean LOL) while still being pure R6B is an achievement itself. Kudos to her.
Yup, Alicia was THE breakout star in R&B as far as the 2000s were concerned. Her first two albums are modern-day R&B classics.
This girl can’t sing to save her life. But hopefully she comes up with something creative enough to overlook her vocal struggles like she sometimes has in the past.

She was big in 2001. Bigger than a certain queen that only managed to get 5 top tens (in 7 years). Not to mention, TEOF sold 900k in 2009/2010 without cassettes.
But honestly who the fuuck was buying or selling cassettes in 2009/2010?
What I’m trying to say is THAT she sold 900k in 2009 when a certain Queen Of Urban Pop couldn’t sell pass 300k in TWO THOUSAND AND ONE WHEN CASETTES STILL EXIST.
