Dawn Richard‘s journey as an independent journey has seen her arrive at YouTube’s front door.
Fortunately…they’ve welcomed her in.
Epic news below…
Keen to ensure she delivers unique content for her swelling fan base, the former Danity Kane lead singer has partnered with The Verge handpicked her to front their coupling with YouTube.
YouTube announced today that it will start supporting live streams of 360-degree video. Since we’re passionate about cutting edge technology at The Verge, we are partnering with YouTube to give the product its first public demonstration. You can tune in to our YouTube channel this Wednesday at 8PM ET / 5PM PT for a performance by experimental pop-R&B artist D∆WN. The experience will work on YouTube’s iOS and Android apps, as well as on the web. You can use any smartphone or tablet, or Google’s Cardboard headset.
Her performance is expected to feature material pulled from all of her solo projects and, should her fans get their wish, cuts from her days in the aforementioned Kane.
