It’s here – and early too.

Jennifer Lopez
has unleashed new single ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ ahead of her performance of the song tonight on the American Idol finale.

Cooked up by Dr. Luke, Lunchmoney Lewis, and Theron Thomas, the hard-hitting the track is the first taste of J.Lo’s material since reuniting with LA Reid – this time at Epic Records.

Really, though. What are you waiting for? Take a listen below and let us know if the 46-year-old is onto a smash…

Fierce, flavoursome, and fiery, ‘Mama’ is a winner.

After dalliances with a plethora of different sounds, the song re-aligns Lopez with her Latin roots with a contemporary kick.

Needless to say, we can’t wait to see this brought to life live on stage.

Welcome back, Mama!

Has aKKKa even scanned plastic yet? Her albums have not be sucessful since the early 2000’s, not to mention it’s not like she’s a single force. Her head game most be better than brandy to still have her deal.

    • maurice April 7, 2016

Her 2011 album LOVE? was actually a commercial success.
I petty you and your hatred to put this woman down. Almost 2 decades strong and she’s still out here serving slayage with endless jobs. Music is more or less a hobby for her now.
      Fix your negative soul!

      • maurice April 7, 2016

        *pity.

      • JOHNVIDAL April 7, 2016

        LOVE? a success???? LMAO

    • Monica April 7, 2016

      SHE CANT SING

    • PeopleAlwaysGotSomethingToSayFromBehindTheirKeyboard April 7, 2016

It doesn’t matter what her albums sell, she’s a LEGEND. Not to mention her SOLD OUT shows in Vegas will make her close to 30 million dollars for 40 days of work. She’s also getting paid 17.5 million for her last season on idol. She also has the MOST SUCCESSFUL celebrity fragrance line out that totals over 50 million dollars in the last ten years. So do you really think she releases music to sell it? No. She releases music because the fans want to hear it and she wants to do it. Now SIT your hatin’ ass down. When one of your fav’s has more than 20+ years in the business then we can talk.

    I actually like it

    • maurice April 7, 2016

Same, after the first verse and as it goes right into the chorus, I was hooked.
      I’m here for it 🙂

  3. HailBeysus April 7, 2016

Okay, I actually liked that! She’ll def slay the stage with choreography.

  4. iSpeakTruthNoFallacy April 7, 2016

This is such a great production as it sounds like a Spanish version of “Sorry;” however, the lyrics and concept of the song are basic and uninspired. There’s this build up from the production to when it hits the chorus “I ain’t your mama” is pretty underwhelming. Let me hear it in the club with a blunt lit and I’ll tell you if my opinion changes

  5. MsYonce April 7, 2016

Okkk now JLo I like it slay

  6. IStan4Rihanna. April 7, 2016

So, this song was written by Meghan Trainor and produced by Dr. Luke, eh?

    Well, it’s very……. them.

I’m a little disappointed (the song could be better, let’s be honest!?!) but I HOPE that J.Lo is able to score a Top 10 or Top 5 smash with this. It does have #1 potential but she would have to promote it furiously to gain downloads and high streaming points. I can see Urban/Rhythmic radio playing it non-stop but it may take some time to grow on Pop radio.

Anyway, come back and SLAY US triple-threat queen! 😉

    Absolutely awful dahhling

  8. 2bad2bme April 7, 2016

No creativity. Sounds like everything else she’s gotten 782,465,923 views from for no reason…I’ll pass!

I like this, it’s cute. Also isn’t the single cover an old photo from 2001..nonetheless, I like it.

    • Korrenzo April 7, 2016

      Lol @ #FlopYourMama

  11. Gee April 7, 2016

This song is another generic mediocre tune from the original model with a mic. It baffles me how people can criticize Rihanna and others for making basic music but when Jennifer does it, it’s a work of art give me a break everyone should be judged the same way. Jlo has become the poster child of lets do this and see if it sticks. But the production works with the song.

    • JOHNVIDAL April 7, 2016

Nobody says that. All of them are terrible music artists.

  12. Nonotme April 7, 2016

  15. LB April 7, 2016

    • KVH April 7, 2016

You’re lame. Your approval means nothing.

  16. Kemar (@S_C_Jr on Twitter) April 7, 2016

  17. pat April 7, 2016

i could hear kelly rowland smashing this….it has her natural cadence

  18. christinastherealtalent April 7, 2016

People just mad that Bey nor Rih didn’t snatch this song up! If they had, oh it’d be all kinds of fire and fun!!!

  19. Annalise April 7, 2016

Okay….. I’m Not Your Grandma is not as bad as I expected, but I doubt this will be on the album. j.Lo just throws out random tracks like wet tissues on a wall, hoping that one will stick. WHEN it doesn’t perform well, she’ll come out with a new single with Pitbull (which will hopefully be slighter better, but will no doubt be the same as what we’ve already heard ).

  20. music all the way April 7, 2016

Hmmmm! I can almost see some kind of beyonce_grown woman choreography for the music video

  21. shakira stan April 7, 2016

She betrayed mariah Ashanti and now kesha and every woman that has been molested …I can’t with this fraud !!!!!

  22. Everyone’s A Critic April 7, 2016

It’s a basic bop, but who says she had to come and go all guns blazing. She did that. It’s no showstopper but she is a triple threat and has proven her worth. Still around and slaying.
At least she released something… I mean, I know bees are going extinct but damn. Where beyonces music?

  23. trose April 7, 2016

This is hot lobe the “nooooooo” def beats the atrocity that was I LUH u papi…I was like really j. Lo?

  24. Sam April 7, 2016

This song is trash! Tbh. The lyric are terrible, the arrangement is terrible, the production is basic and it shows all of her vocal discrepancies.
Her and Cheryl should do a duet.

  25. Desigirl1075 April 7, 2016

Harpo, who dis woman?? they photoshopped the shyt outta that promo pic.

  26. nathalie April 7, 2016

hahahahha ppl are mad because she came for slayage . hihihihi

  27. samantha April 7, 2016

  30. oscar April 7, 2016

does she ever get tired of flopping

  31. JOHNVIDAL April 7, 2016

JLo did it again: one more terrible song to add to her catalogue.

    • samantha April 7, 2016

u r tryin but the GP loved it , go sleep

    • #JACKIE April 7, 2016

You are so annoying and pressed.

  32. F April 7, 2016

Cute little bop, don’t know if it’s enough to crack the top 10, but at least she will tear that stage

  33. Royalkev April 7, 2016

First impression, I thought it was very underwhelming! It wasn’t til the very end that it started to click for me. I don’t like this song as much as I like several from the ‘AKA’ album (Booty, Acting Like That, Tens, Troubeaux, First Love), but JLO always manages to come up with something you find catchy even if you don’t fall in love with the song. This song is a grower and since I love performers and video beast, JLO will eventually take it all the way home for me!

    • Royalkev April 7, 2016

^ Oh wait, Jenny’s won’t be falling off today! I played it twice and it slays! That’s all! *Goes to Itunes*

      • F April 8, 2016

First Love it’s one of her best songs, truly a gem, she should have picked that as a first single and promote it like that

  34. sheSoMessy April 7, 2016

This sound like som thing that was submitted to Rihanna team and was rejected.

  35. Tran anti no bloper honey love time but it okay girl April 8, 2016
