More than ever before, the music business is about much more than music. Indeed, in today’s industry, artists are tasked with being brands to broaden their reach.

It’s a memo Pop pin-up Nick Jonas understands in earnest. For, armed with the success of new single ‘Close,’ the crooner has signed a lucrative deal with cutting-edge footwear giant Creative Recreation.

Details below…

As part of the deal, Jonas will act as the face of the brand, design his line of own Creative Rec shoes, spearhead key initiatives, and feature in the Fall 2016 advertising campaign.

The partnership comes as quite the coup for the ‘Jealous’ singer.

New album ‘Last Year Was Complicated’ arrives on June 10th and he’ll thereafter be hitting the road with Demi Lovato on the ‘Honda Civic Tour: Future Now’ tour.

Speaking on the venture, the 23-year-old said:

“I am looking forward to my collaboration with Creative Recreation, and to starting the footwear design process in creating shoes for my fans that are perfect for their wardrobe. It has always been important for me to be hands-on with any collaboration, and this project is no exception.”

Well come through Nick!

His music is generic and he’s super boring. From what I can see only appeals to a gay audience because of all those gay acting parts he keeps taking (probably because it’s all he can get.)

      ??????

Nick is being exploited by gay Hollywood and its the reason that straight guys aren’t flocking to him in the way they do for Justin and Zayn. Plus, he doesn’t really have a unique sound. One of his songs sounds like he cloned Miguel

I don’t know any heterosexual male who flocks to Justin…if the ‘Justin’ you’re talking about is Bieber. That buffoon only plays to girls and dysfunctional gays too.

You are confused if you haven’t realised that it’s now ok for guys to listen to Bieber’s music. He was corny before but his reinvention gave him a cool factor. Nick keeps playing gay characters and I’m telling you it’s the reason he doesn’t have a perceived coolness among straight guys who, rightly or wrongly, determine what’s seen as in.

You can act like it doesn’t matter but straight guys are very difficult to appeal to which is why Justin bulked up to be giving cute college guy next door teas. Nick is straight guy with sub par music and gay Hollywood backing but he’s known for that and that is the reason he doesn’t come across as relatable to people our age. I’m sorry, when I think of Nick I automatically think of skinny 40 something white guys from West Hollywood.

You’re delusional if you think straight men are into Bieber. Everyone over the age of 20 considers him a lame d*****. His fans are only geeky t*** girls and queenly gay boys with girly tastes.

Idk why people keep insisting Zayn is copying him where Zayn sounds ALOT BETTER than him, have different vibes, more handsome, had huger success than The Jonas brothers due to 1D, and at the beginning of his career stated numerous times he wanted to be only a R&B singer look at his auditions and earlier interviews from X-Factor 2010.

He can ‘” ink ” as many deals as he wants he’s still gonna flop. Zayn is the new top guy in pop.

  4. Stephon Jackson April 7, 2016

I tried to get into this diabetic mans music… But, he’s just too corny for my taste. And, I can’t with that fake black voice he does in his music. He gives me a Jason Derulo vibe. Corny by default, amateur, safe & un-authentic!.

What does him being a diabetic have to do with anything?

    • Who gonna check me boo?? April 7, 2016

Oh my God drag a bit sis “corny by nature ” I died

    • LB April 7, 2016

      The accuracy though

  5. LB April 7, 2016

He is generic, fake and boring. He is also a horrible singer. Jessica Bieber and zAYn have surpassed him.

  6. Michael April 7, 2016

Creative Reaction is to shoes what Ed Hardy was to apparel. In other words, pure trash and a total eyesore. That said, Nick is worth looking at no matter what he’s sporting. Deal won’t help his music career though.

  7. Navy Gravy April 7, 2016

It’s called Creative REACTION not recreation. LMAO I can’t with you “journalists” lol

  8. Tran anti bloper honey love but it okay girl April 9, 2016
