While ‘Kiss It Better’ has yet to gain steam on the Billboard charts, it’s sister single ‘Needed Me’ looks poised to make some surprising moves. How so?

For as it stands this week, ‘Needed’ is sitting in the Top 40 range on the Billboard Hot 100, having jumped 14 spots from the 47 to the 33 slot.
Meanwhile, fan-favorite ‘Kiss’ seems all but forgotten footnote at the number 83 spot, having slipped from the 80 slot since last week. This, despite the launch of its accompanying video.
“Anti” itself sits at #5 on the Top 200 charts bested Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” and Zayn’s “Mind of Mine”, while Kanye’s “Life of Pablo” stands in the way of the album regaining its #4 spot.

Glass John, the producer behind Kiss It Better was right when he said it was a gem. That’s why so many assumed it would take off right after Work. The fact that this isn’t the case is surprising to me because it seemed like the biggest fan favorite of the album tracks.
That’s the way this era is good tracks don’t do as well as the rubbish ones I like kiss it better and you needed me waa a fav from the first listen I will never like work but like I said look at what out at the moment it fits in like a glove unlike real good songs that seem to struggle and is me or do we have a new age of rappers sounding the same with there styles cos that panda track sounds like 50 tracks that I have heard so far this year even rihanna jumped on the bandwagon with that style with a few of her songs
People want that urban grit and kiss it better, tho a jam, isn’t the Rihanna people are keen of these days. She needs to drop the video. It has a James Bond girl tease to it from the pictures I have seen a while ago. It will help. It’s moving up on iTunes and billboard. May crack the top 10 but isk about number 1 just yet. I adore ‘Kiss It Better’ but I knew that ‘Needed Me’ would surpass consider it’s been charting on the Hot 100 since the release of the album. Furthermore, ‘Kiss It Better’ is a guitar-driven, mid-tempo, power-ballad oriented song and Pop radio simply isn’t interested in that right now unless it’s Adele as those type of songs are her niche. I won’t cancel the song out just yet as it’s still growing (I’ll give 3 more weeks to finally decide it’s fate) but it will remain a gem in her catalogue for years.
Besides maybe 5 tracks the ANTI MIXTAPE/EP (which is only 48 minutes long/less than B’day) is really a PATHETIC showcase. The bad songs ruin what culd have been a great throwback R&B album. Needed me is even worse than work and so is woo & despado. Most of the album is either snippets/interludes or druged up sonically. Only like 3 REAL songs on the whole thing. Rih was right to give it away. Its not worth buying and the sells outside the US show that.

Kiss it better would be doing better if the video had been better because tbh it’s a totally waste, kinda like the original “work” video.
I think that people brought the album based off KIB and Work and then were surprised by the rest which has continued to keep sales and streams stable.
I was really disappointed with the video considering the team and resources Rihanna has, as well as the BBHMM & Work videos and the clips seen for the needing me video.

NEEDED ME has not been officially released as WORK is still dominating the charts poised to be her longest Number 1 Single if it continues to post big numbers
