Fans of Fantasia will have to wait a slight while longer for the singer’s fifth studio album ‘The Definition Of…’
Initially set for a June 10th release, it was widely expected that its release date would change, given the absence of a definitive lead single.
Confirmation of the push back came courtesy of the singer herself, who is presently on the road touring with Anthony Hamilton.

Writing to followers on Twitter, the Charlotte native revealed that ‘Definition’ will now drop on July 29th via RCA Records.
Reliable word confirms to That Grape Juice that an official single is due imminently and isn’t any of the previously heard numbers such as ‘Ugly’ and ‘So Blue.’

In today’s climate, it’s oh so important to set up a campaign “correctly” – not just from a sales standpoint (which is never a guarantee), but also to generate momentum enough to tour.
Therefore, we’re all for Team Fantasia putting the right measures in motion for her to succeed upon release. Even if that means waiting a short while longer.

Fantasia is one of the few black women who can successfully tour without a record out. Shes going back to the drawing board for that strong first single to deliver her normal strong first week sales.
The quality of of your music isn’t determined by its sales! It’s about the heart and soul you put into it which a lot of your faves fail to even care for.
This is one of the albums i’ve really been waiting on, Come on Fanny! Serve me those urban-soul church-muva bops!
