Fifth Harmony are firing up the promotional campaign for her hotly anticipated sophomore album ‘7/27.’

The LP, which follows last year’s ‘Reflection,’ lands at retail on May 27th and to aid their cause, the Epic Records quintet appear on the cover of Billboard Magazine.

Beyond their striking beauty, the ‘Work From Home’ singers (who hit #6 on the Hot 100 with the song) opened up for their most candid interview yet.

Within the feature, the group wax honest about their future (amidst talk of solo projects), learning the hard way about the downsides of fame, Kanye West, and more.

Peep the quotes and pics after the jump…

On ‘7/27’ & How They’ve Grown

“We finally have a damn voice. We feel like actual artists. We were little babies in the beginning. Now we’re becoming big girls.” [Dinah]

“This is our rebirth. 727 is a jet and we’re about to take flight, know what I mean?” [Lauren]

On How Long They’ll Stay Together

“It has been an incredible journey, and it’ll continue as long as it can. But this will be that chapter that got us wherever we needed to go. We’re learning the business, meeting people we need to know, getting knowledgeable about our craft. This is basically us being in college for our majors.” [Lauren]

On The Rigours Of Touring:

“I love touring, but the schedule traumatized me. I was like, ‘What kind of job are we doing?’ I watched my great-grandmother be buried on FaceTime. We’re all so family-oriented, and we’ve all lost people on the road.” [Dinah]

On Becoming Famous Young

“They sell you this present of rainbows and butterflies, and as a 16-year-old that’s what I bought. It’s why I did X Factor and why I ended up in a group. But then you’re working so hard, so young. [Meanwhile] my friends are in college, telling me about their days and what they’re studying. You’re having to put on a smile on a red carpet. It’s like, ‘Who am I? Am I for myself or for this?’ ” [Lauren]

On Kanye’s “Bitch” Comment To Taylor Swift

“I spoke to [Swift] and she did not know he was going to say that. Taking credit for her success and then saying ‘you owe me sex for that’? Disgusting.” [Camila]

Dinah and Laurens statements were sad and insightful too just how much these artists miss out on things. Kinda dark tbh. Sad Dinah had to watch her Great Grandmother be buried through facetime smh!

they are giving me destiny fulfiled album cover vibe with the magazine cover.

    • Sterling Infinity May 5, 2016

Yea it’s sad! I remember when my father died I had to go work later that day. I’ll keep them in my prayers… But on a high note I believe their hard work is paying off! ?

There no match whatsoever. People still don’t know who these girls are. They’ve yet to strike.

Why do they keep trying to force themselves to call them or make them Destinys Child! Their will never be another DC on top of that DC was an all black girlband. Its stupid to have Destinys child name on a front page of a magazine and your group name is know where to be found… just plain stupid!

“(They) sell you this present of rainbows and butterflies…” -Lauren
Illuminati chile…monarch programming! Even Mariah named her record label MonarC Entertainment, and she uses butterfly and rainbow imagery! The name MonarC Entertainment comes from Carey’s well-documented fascination with butterflies…Mariah tried to let ya’ll know! After divorcing Tommy, she released…Butterfly and Rainbow back to back! The Weeknd showed that no one was paying attention to him in the club in the Can’t Feel My Face video until he was lit on fire, even though he was performing the SAME song! After he was lit on fire, everybody loved him…if you watch Can’t Feel My Face first, then Tell Your Friends, then The Hills, the story makes sense…that mysterious man that lit him on fire is in ALL three videos…I won’t go too deep, but I’m seeing so many NEW music artists communicating the EXACT same thing BEFORE they have their biggest success…how would they know? Lady Gaga knew it ALL too well on The Fame and The Fame Monster…the albums that made her a superstar…

    They are boring

Their team is trying so damn hard. Destiny’s Children my ass. They’ve got 1.5 talented acts in this group, and no one gives a damn about their music. Magazine covers and expensive photoshoots don’t change the fact that units aren’t moving and they can’t perform live. Fvck outta here!

    • #justsayn May 5, 2016

      @ Michael
      U betta preach!

    • Jen May 5, 2016

Not moving units …every single they put out went platinum including their huge hit single this year that went top 10 …which is the first for a girl group this decade

My issue with them is that they do NOT still look and appear as a group. They seem like a bunch of perhaps friends who are catty with each other. They don’t look cohesive. Danity Kane appeared more like bandana collective as them, hell even PCD despite Nicole being the lead 95% of the time.

They need to work on that, when they break up, which seems SO near, it will not be shocking whatsoever. They either don’t want to be in a group, or don’t like each other-something shows, and its not a good look. So damn awkward together.

Uh I don’t know. I mean I like them I really do but like someone said above their chemistry is. Idk. When they first started singing acoustic you could tell that they didn’t like camilla. But. ..idk.I really don’t want them to be another generic group. 1d and little mix have such generic music. 5H needs to appeal to black people. Not white people.
