As it stands, the Brit-Pop force that is Little Mix have sold more records worldwide than its Sony sister Fifth Harmony.
However, hits spawned by the latter have seen the group rise to become Little’s largest rival.

In an interview with Straits Times group member Jade Thirwall shared:
You’re allowed to support both of us – that’s not a problem at all. We have a lot of fans who support both of us and that’s fine.
Why she thinks Mix is yet to impact the U.S. in the way Harmony has:
To crack America, you have to be there a lot, but we have so many other countries that want us, it wouldn’t be quite fair to be there all the time – that’s our biggest obstacle.
On plans to go solo:
We have high ambitions and we’re not going to stop until we reach every goal and know we tried everything to be the biggest we could be.
We get along really well and like one another’s company. It’d be weird if we weren’t together all the time.
We’re just going to keep going forever, hopefully.

Kelly Rowland hand picked them herself and put them together! The video is actually on youtube where Kelly is pointing them out individually and tells each of them to step forward! She even tells them they have potential to be the biggest girl group to come out the UK! Kelly did not mentor Little Mix on the show but she did form them as a group! The girls always acknowledge Kelly as forming them as a group as well as Simon! Their fans always thxs Kelly for putting them together as well!

Little mix will continue to out perform fifth harmony in every market outside of the u.s. Fifth harmony are seeing temp success with “work from home”. I highly doubt they’ll score another #1

Fifth harmony has only been to the UK a couple times, if that, and already have 2 UK top 10 singles, 3 UK top 40 singles, 3 UK top 75 singles, 12 weeks in the UK top 10,22 weeks in the UK top 40, and 29 weeks in the UK top 75.So there’s no excuse as to why they haven’t cracked America other than the fact that little mix is wack and generic watered down spice girls.

Its alot easier to go from the US to the UK than the opposite. A US artist can have a hit in the UK without ever stepping foot there. In general, whats popular in the US is popular in all other Western countries

Little Mix is and always will be better than Fifth Harmony. You can bring up 5H’s cute little chart run but how have their albums done internationally compared to Little Mix? LM reach a broader audience, 5H are local. They could crack the US if they spent more time here. They’ve already had moderate success here just from fan power alone. Black Magic should’ve been a hit tbh

I’m mad that they’re not bigger then 5H here in the US. I prefer their music and I love the group ‘vibe’ between LM a lot more. It’s really time they stop making the excuses and just do what they have to do in order to dominate over here.
i wont lie 5H chemistry is off. cant deny it. but i dont think LM can break the US market. just imo not trying to argue. Theyre simply TOO cut and paste. I feel like 5H might have already nabbed the spot. 5H is having a hard enough time earning respect.
5H have singles right. Little Mix are the tighter and better singing group.

Little Mix 1st couple albums debut well in States but don’t promote long enough.
The ones who saw that season of X factor saw Kelly idea to form them during auditions. Tulisa was the mentor of groups category after auditons but guided them well through the comp.
i personally dont lke LM but theyre sales are astounding. theyve been here since 2011 though so i think 5H needs time to realy shine. so far they have a gold album and six certified singles. BUT theyre all women of color so i think that may have something to do with it.
