As a long-time fan of Beyonce, I can remember when she used to go all out with promo to the point where she was criticised for being overexposed. However, I would love for her to connect a little more with us fans because even though the music does tell her story and we’d like to hear from her how those songs came about. I honestly think 2014’s ‘elevator-gate’ ruined Bey’s relationship with the media because it became open season for them to speculate endlessly about her marriage and family life. That’s why she makes sure to control how the media portrays her as much as she can. Sad but it is what it is.

Beyoncé is on a stadium tour and she is reaching atleast 40,000-50,000 people every other night (She is promoting her album). However I do agree that this (non- promo approach & taking forever to put her videos on Vevo, and other streaming services) hurt her last album and will hurt this album to. Personally I think Beyoncé is TIRED of the (traditional promo approach) she and many artist have to do. She has reached that stage in her career where she feels all she has to do is release her music and perform it. If the fans like the music and to buy want it they know how to get their hands on it.
I like how she is approaching things lately because she has us anticipating what her next move is and keep us wanting more. I’m glad she is not doing the whole traditional promo approach

Beyonce is 35 years old going on 36. She does not have the same energy as before. Her dancing is not as hard, her vocals not as smooth.
She will be retiring soon and the beehive can finally GET A LIFE.
Drake is truly at the top of his game right now. He just delivered the highest first-week sales of his career and finally attained a #1 single as a lead artist on a single after coming so close a couple of times. However, it’s interesting that whereas he seems to be enjoying what seems to be the peak of his commercial success, his current musical efforts are being cited as some of his weakest to date. The album is so overdrawn and tiring to listen to. I do like the way the first half has his typical hip-hop sound but then gradually develops into to a more summery Caribbean vibe in its second. Congrats to him on everything though.
