Beyonce‘s ‘Lemonade’ success is proving to be no quick fizz.
A chart-topper upon release three weeks ago, the set has established itself as a consistent force – both on the streaming and sales front.
The latter has seen the LP sweep up another 155k in the most recent US tracking week; a number which rises to 220k when factoring in Sales-Plus-Streaming.
Next week is shaping up to be another winning window for the project commercially.

As at writing, ‘Lemonade’ has climbed back to #1 on US iTunes despite fierce competition from Drake and a new release from Meghan Trainor.
The feat is rendered even more impressive when considering that no traditional promotion – outside of her summer ‘Formation’ stadium tour – has been embarked on yet.
Current totals put the album at close to 1 million in Stateside sales and 1.2 million already when weighing the streaming component.
Still, no phenomena lasts forever. Hence, it’ll be interesting to see how Team Bey mature the campaign in the months ahead. Uniquely, the LP has managed to sustain (and slay) despite the scarcity of platforms its material has been serviced to (see: no VEVO, no Spotify, no Apple Music).
Logic suggests it’ll be smart to roll-out select songs (perhaps singles) to said services soon. But given the left-field approach that has defined the singer’s present and previous album cycles, it’s anyone’s guess what’s coming next.
A frustrating reality at times, but an equally exciting one too.
