Surprise-released on April 23, 2016, the critically acclaimed project – crowned the greatest album of the 21st century by ‘Rolling Stone‘ – came as a genre-bending affair loaded with nods to R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Reggae, and more.

A concept album loaded with themes of female empowerment and tackling personal and social issues in ways she hadn’t done prior, the 4x Platinum-selling ‘Lemonade’ reigns as a standout in the Queen Bey’s discography and is hailed by many as her most adventurous work yet.

For its cultural impact and enduring influence on the musical landscape, the diva joined the chorus of her beloved fans (affectionately called the #Beyhive) on April 23 to toast the project.

“Cheers to ten years,” she captioned pictures on Instagram of her holding lemons alongside her whisky brand Sir Davis. “With love and deep gratitude.”

The nod comes as buzz continues to amplify around Bey’s next studio effort – the highly anticipated third and final installment of her ‘Renaissance‘ album series aptly titled ‘Act III.’

At the time of this report, however, no official release date has been announced for the opus nor has information about its lead single hit the Web.
