With the 2016 BET Awards set for next week Sunday (June 26th), organisers for Urban music’s biggest calendar night have announced a slew of new performers.
Previously announced stage blazers included Alicia Keys and Maxwell, as well as a star-studded tribute to Prince courtesy of D’Angelo, Janelle Monae, The Roots, and Sheila E.

Per a press released by That Grape Juice moments ago, it has been confirmed that Usher, Bryson Tiller, and Future will be stepping into the spotlight at LA’s Microsoft Theater to rock the mic.
Tiller and Future scored notable nominations, while veteran Ush recently returned with two new singles ‘No Limit’ and ‘Crash.’
As for presenters on the night, they include:
DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Tinashe, Fantasia, Regina Hall, BET’s “Music Moguls” (Damon Dash, Birdman, Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dog,) Aja Naomi King, Nate Parker, Terrence J, Morris Chestnut, J.B. Smoove, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, the cast of BET’s New Edition Biopic (Bryshere Y. Gray, Elijah Kelley, Luke James, Algee Smith, Keith Powers and Woody McClain) and BET’s “F in Fabulous” cast (Kamie Crawford, Eny Oh, Stephon Mendoza and Savannah Lynx).
The 2016 BET Awards, hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, airs live at 8pm ET June 26th.
